Skiboarding is shit. Plain and simple. Its about as much fun as getting AIDS. And really i don't know why people, including myself, have wasted time telling the rest of the wolrd that skiboarding is shit.

alright 'the man', here's the deal, i have no respect for you, as i also have no respect for anybody that thinks skiing is just about throwing tricks in the park.

to me, skiing is about chillin with you're homies in the backcountry, smokin some weed and sessioning a fat kicker, then hitting some sick lines and dropping some huge cliffs on the way down, which is all stuff that you cant do on skiboards.

so take my advice, drop the skiboards, pick up a pair of around 180 cm fat twins and go do some real skiing, and stop bitching to me about how i dont like you cause you skiboard.

THE SPRINKLER: get butt naked and then do a 1260 while taking a piss, i expect this trick to win many comps this coming season.

Personaly i couldn't care less for big mountain riding, but i to enjoy just riding w/ my friends, sessioning a rail or a kicker. But it sounds like your not just hating on me ur hating the East Coast skiers to, cuz the fact they prefer jibbing and the park over big mountain skiing.

I also couldn't care less if you like me or not cuz i am not gonna lose sleep over a little fukin big mountain stoner like you not likin me cuz the fact that you can't ride East Coast style.

Are you kidding, you ski in VT and you can't find decent snow. Try Smuggs or Stowe or fucking Jay Peak, that place has pow and cliffs. So quit your bitching, buy some real sticks, and lets see you do a 30 footer.

do you seriously think that skibording is harder than skiing. I rented them once about 4 years ago for a half day at sunday river. By the end of the 4 hour period I had them, i could boost 720s and lincoln loops. On skis I can hardly do a 540, let alone a 720. So take your fucking skiboards, and put a couple feet on each end. no w you got a real sport

i think everyone here takes themselves way to seriously. dont get me wrong, skiing is practically my life and there are few things i wouldnt give up for it, but skiing, snowboarding, skiboarding, we're all just sliding down a mountain or a hill, with one plank or two, short or long. who really cares, its not like we're saving lives or anything, its about having a good time. if you like one then stick with it, but the argument is lame.

All I'm gonna say is you CANT look GOOD on ski board. You look like a fool going down the mountain. As for tricks, do NOT say it is harder to spin on ski boards. Skiing is hard to spin because you have that much extra weight to throw around. I will admit one thing, it is harder to land on ski blades because you do not have the support under your feet....however, that isnt something that helps your argument here, in fact it hurts you. Not being able to land tricks = ski boards suck even harder.

We'll have you dead pretty soon.

the reason I don't like skiboarders has to do with a near death experienc involving a morbidly overweigth man with a jersey accent and a SF 49er's pull over jacket. I was riding down a cruiser minding my own business, gaining speed to make the flats and ahead I see a man... looking a little shakey... a little tipsey..... completely unstable. he is moving quite slowly... is this guy a skier? who is he? No. he's a skiboarder. He is very slowly making Z turns across the whole trail, which is pretty narrow so he is pretty much taking up the entire trail. I have reached the crest of the last slope before the flats and I need speed desperately. I make the decision to pass him, it's risky but I have this down to an art. I skate a little bit, on the right of the trail the skiboarder is headed towards tne right too. I am making my way down and yell 'ON YOUR RIGHT' and start to ski by. My speed (probably a whopping 3 miles an hour) frightens this dirty jersey piece of shit and he starts to lose balance and flail. He loses control. I slow down a little bit and turn my head to check on him and he hits me at mach speed on my left side a little bit in front of him. I am launched into the air. Witnesses claim that I did a rodeo and it was awesome. I land head first in a puddle of slush dazed and pissed. I lift my head..... oooooo not such a good Idea, I force myself up in a hurry and ask if they guy is alright, he is sittin on his side, he had lost balance and gracefully fell on his side. He says 'slow down you dumb bitch' and I get up and ski away. IF HE HAD BEEN WEARING SKIS HE WOULD HAVE NEVER HAD LOST CONTROL AND PUMMELED ME.
