Why do you all hate racers?

I don’t really see why most every one on this site hates racers. Is there a reason or is it cause that they listen to some one that tells them how to ski better? Or is it cause they don’t do what you think is cool. I for one ski race and I do newschool and I don’t see why every one hates racers. Cause I don’t know many racers that hate freeriders.

 
there are some things you need to understand, most people on this site are ignorant assholes, and that they are jealous by the shear number of days racers can get in, dont take it to personally, also, there are some racers that seem to have a really stuck up attitude. So that bugs them.

 
I hate the racres that laugh when you fall trying something, or cut in front of you, or think they are better than you because theyre on the race team. If they aren't like that, then theyre cool.

 
Mostly i hate the cocky ones, and the ones that cut in front in line. Other than that, i really dont mind them.

i dont hate all racers as a group. there is just a few ( like about 45-100) racers at my mt. who r little fuckers. not all racers suck just the stupid ones

all the cocky racers are just rich. If they didnt race they would be just as cocky about jibbing.

I really dont care if they cut in front of me on the mountain, its in the line that pisses me off.

i was once a racer and just hated feeling like a drone. a lot of racers ski around in groups and wait around for each other. I was just never really into the waiting around thing. waiting at the top of the course sucked too.

Plus I rode up the chair with some cocky racer bastards a few weeks ago. one of them called me a park rat because i had line skogen's on but i've done more backcountry this year than ever before.

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

racers can be cocky little bitches and even other racers like myself dont like them but then again i dont like cocky jibbers either unless they can back their shit up then i say go cock away

just laugh at them, you don't have to bitch at them. They're funny enough in their skin-tight spandex suits. I once saw one with the spandex suit go in the park and try a penciled-out 360 and just completely fall on his ass.

REMEMBER: It's 10% equipment, and 90% rider.
 
the reason people on this site dont like racers is cause this is a freestyle sking site, not all, but most reacers i know are dicks, they some into the park and make fun of the freestlye kids for doing cool tricks then they dont do shit, they turn on jumps, turn on landings, they all have at least 2 pair of skis bought by momy and daddy and they think that they are the shit.

so as you can see most people have problems with racers at thier mtn, and when a racer comes on a freestyle site it reflects

there are so many gay ones its hard to give props to the ones that arnt...you are on the chari talking about a sick line and they just listen to everything then trie and tell u everything about the mountain.....and when they try and show u up and fall on there ass then plame it on there skis is the gayest thing I have ever heard

 
You guys shouldn't be so discrimitory towards racers. I totally agree that some racers are the biggest loser ever, and most of them ruin the jumps in our parks. But there are a lot of racers who aren't losers and can ski the park. And besides there are more girls into racing than into freeskiing.

yeah. i know a lot of people race because it gets you on the snow at least twice a week. It also really improves your balance. Of course, I would rather hit the park, but racing has its ups. (one of which spandex is not)

 
first i like how all the little racers are on this forum defending themselves. i HATE racers who think they are the shit because WOW they paid tons of money to learn how to ski FAST... i didnt pay shit and i ski just as fast. i hate the ones who rude in the ski line and think they look like hot shit in their tight spandex on their fat bodies. there are about 100 racers at my mountain, i like about 3, bnecause the other 97 think they are better than the rest of the skiers just cuz they pay to be good.

I hate it when the Cut me off like the rentals in the park or they cut in the line. I also in nopt cool that the straight air every table. An what reallly makes me mad are the skier that use the kickers on to rails and straight air those and then laugh at you when you fall trying the rail.

If the women don't find you handsome... atleast they'll find yo handy.

I was just in kitzbuhel in austria and the world cup was on so i have a bit more respect for them, this one hit on the course was fucking massive, 60m air going over 100km/h. ill pay that. i do not howeverhave respect for the racers who come into the park and on the way up they tell all the tricks they can do.
