Why do woman skis always have a detail of intermediate?

I guess they assume that women will never be as good as men. And I guess if you're a real good skier, you can still ski a men's ski. So, yeah.
 
not to be a dickhead... but i dont understand why they have separate scorrin for men and women... i mean... whats stoppin women from not bein as good as men? some women out there are hella good... but compared to like the men pros... they still arnt up there... lol like i said.. i dont get it
 
His point is why should being a women make you worse at skiing, and why is that acceptable? if anything, they should be better, because women are generally considered more flexible and have a better sense of balance. Someone please give me a legitimate excuses as to why women skiers are soo redicolously far behind men and I might change my mind.....
 
^ IMO they're not actually that far behind men. In fact, I think they're progressing pretty quickly.
 
they're definitely ahead of women snowboarders, especially in slopestyle. and there are a few girls like ingrid who rip like a man.
 
exactly, just bein a woman shouldnt stop them from goin as big or hard as men do.. its the same with all sports, skatin, snowboardin, i hate watchin womens halfpipe cuz its a joke.. they like air out and are scored on it... women and men should be scored together... maybe if they competed together that would push the women harder and they would catch up?
 
I think its because the common consensus is that lots of chicks are more "timid" or something than the guys. Back when skiing was all there was, and before expensive passes and high speed chairlifts and huge lodges and shit, chicks were about equal in numbers as men, however, the skis were retarded back then and they threw chicks on 195's. This kinda didnt allow them to progress much unless they were just REALLY good.

Plus, in the 90's the style changed and the snow was unpopular to women, and therefore they kinda ditched the sport...

now, there is a huge comeback. wait 10 years, and I bet money there will be some insane chick skiers out there... more than snowboarders even.
