yeah i smoke like once a week and i just enjoy it, its such a chill thing to do when your hanging out with your friends and its so fun being high, since i started smoking i have noticed no difference in anything that i do, i do really well in school, i still play basketball and ski as much as i always did and when all my friends chip in its cheap as shit, so i dont see anything wrong with it, and its fun

I know this guy who smokes up every day at lunch and you can really see 'the effects'. He's an idiot to talk to now and he cant play b-ball for shit anymore. I dont smoke, and i dont want to try it, because i know if i try it, I'll prob. like it alot and wont be able 2 stop.

 
^yes. drugs are fun. drugs are interesting. please atleast once smoke a fat joint on the chair. please atleast once try to get hammered (you will eventually) at a party and try out blazing while chilling with friends. wouldn't worry about addiction unless you have really weak will power (obviously can happen easier with harder drugs). oh, and do mush. nothing is to bad for you to notice when used in moderation. or just not try anything out.

Yeah, fuck it dude, you only live once. There is no reason to not try it at least excpt for the fact that your parents say it is bad and people tell you false facts about weed. I know my parents did it when they were kids, and now my dad runs a fucking bank. It doesnt fuck up your life, so go out, have fun and be a kid while u can.

I've been drunk before, I didn't really like it, the only cool thing was the whole shaky distorted wavy vision but when i woke up i had a bump on my head, big swollen marshmallow in my foot, and felt like shit. Then I tried it again and didn't like it again, everyone always pressures me though cause like 90% of my friends do it but I just ignore 'em.

It's everyone's choice, but most people do it just for that fact that it's 'bad' or 'cool', not because they really like it. I bet if no one smoked weed for pleasure but only for medicinal purposes, no one would do it. It just wouldn't be 'cool' that way.

It's different reasons for different drugs. But you can sum them all up with one word- FUN! Hallucinogens are in a category of their own. After you trip out you reach this kind of understanding and you feel wiser. It's like you get this inexplainable knowledge. And there's no other way to understand it in your mind other than doing it for yourself. It's like complete peace of mind.

MANY of the people that smoke, it may not have an impact on there life, but ive seen alot of people(not all people) that have become useless piles of shit due to weed. Its different for everyone but to say theres no downsides or its harmless is a lie.

everything in moderation, even moderation. Pot is an excellent relaxent and if used in appropriate situations.

Before you diss drugs and say they are all bad, have a look at your music collection, art collection, book collection. Many of the most talented artists got inspiration and vision from a high state. The world through lsd or shrums is completely different. It can be calmer, more colorful, happier, etc. Also, it is such BS to say if you use these drugs you will become a homeless bum out on the street. I think most of you would be suprised at the number of very successfull people occasionaly experiment.

I am not trying to convince anyone to go out and get fryed, or that it will be good for you right now where you are in your life, but just try to keep an open mind and remember my original comment about moderation.

I smoke weed everyday and its not making me any more stupid than I was before......I even got on the honor roll at school......smoking weed is fun and I would do it even if nobody else did. Im not doing it because I think it will make me look cool but for myself....I just like to sit down with friends and smoke some bud and relax.....thats all. Its not like the weed will make me not get a good education or a good job...I could still get those things and still smoke weed!!!

if your hittin a water bong once a week it doesnt effect your lungs at all, ive smoked once a week for 2 years or so and i can still play an entire fast paced 40 min basketball game without getting tired, im in better shape than people who dont smoke too, people tell you it fucks up your lungs so much, but it really doesnt as long as you dont smoke every day and using a water pipe or bong helps filter all the bad shit out of the smoke

i do it maybe a couple times a month just when i chill with my friends i run track and play soccer and it hasnt in anyway really affected me

 
I screwed up real bad my freshman year of college. During the summer i began smoking pot, my grades gradually got better and better. This semester I'm getting a 3.4 and am gonna be attending Penn State Main next year. I don't think pot is the reason for my grades getting better but I'm just making a point that you won't turn stupid if you still have the drive to do good. I'm still physically as strong and can run the mile in about 5:30 (im not bragging thats just a fact for all the people that say you'll be out of breath and what not). I enjoy smoking it relaxes me and it really bonds friends together. I'm not saying that you have to smoke pot to bond with friends but me and my friends enjoy it. Pot is ok in moderation if you don't overdue it and don't stay high the entire day everyday. In my eyes the only reason why I think pot is illegal is because they say it's a gateway drug, which I think is complete bullshit considering most of the people I know have only smoked and not dabbled with any other types of drugs. If you don't smoke thats cool, if you do thats cool too. I just think it's retarded too look down on someone because they smoke. Most people make that stereotype that everyone that smokes is a waste of life and will never doing anything productive. Not everyone that smokes will turn into a stoner loser. Remember that.

why should i ever have to step into the real world? i am a full time student skier. i will be a full time skier/researcher in the future, why should i stop smoking pot, get a shitty job and ruin my lungs by sitting in a traffic jam all day?

it you can control yourself you can be just as good, or if you want to better than before oyu ever did druges as my previous post indicated, i do not smoke everyday, but i do it alot, and i am just as well off now, perhaps even more well off because i found something i ilke in school.

if i was not a total stoner drunk in first year i would still be in computer science wasting my brain cells and preparing to enter a cubicle.

i am now in geography, soon to graduate with my masters and into a research job that i will like. i will still be able to smoke pot all my life if i so choose.

my buddies first drug was acid, mine was pot and i did shrooms later on, he moved to pot and does nothing else. you only go into new drugs if you want to. it is all about self control. but if someone wants to be a acid freak, let them. it is their life to live. acid is not addictive, it is something people decide to try, and like.

non-addictive drugs are illegal while cigaretts, which are as addictive as heroine is perfectly legal. how much sense does that make?

and how many of your are addicted to television? don;t tell me i am wrong for living my life the way i want to. i do not tell you to do anything, i stay out of your business.

finally, i do not need to do drugs to be cool. i know i am one of the coolest people on earth. doing drugs allows me to reflect on just how cool i am.
