Why do the people who don't deserve it usually get fucked?

So theres this girl at my high school here in Iowa. One of the smartest kids, most outspoken, stands up for her beliefs, but respects other peoples too. Perfect example of an excellent kid, never been in trouble or done anything to deserve what has ahppened to her. Graduation is this Sunday and we only had 5 more days of school. Her name is Nelle, and last week she was riding her motorcycle down the highway when some fucking senior citizen from arizona was exiting the interstate and smashed into the side of her. She broke all of her ribs, shattered one leg and broke the other in 3 places, severeley bruised, cut and road rashed, and her aorta ruptured. She was airlifted to the mayo clinic in rochester and was expected to die. Since she has been at the hospital, she has suffered 2 strokes and multiple seizures and she is in a coma. Well today is the last day that she will be living because her father, who is a minister, cannot afford to pay to keep her on life support anymore, and the hospital is pulling the plug on her tomorrow. This should not happen. This girl did not deserve this, she should be graduating on Sunday, and going on to make a difference in the world, but she is about to lose her life. Newschoolers, please keep her in your prayers because Nelle does not deserve this, and I pray that God will show a miracle and bring her out of the coma. I just dont understand why this happened to her. If I could trade places with her, I would, because I have done a hell of a lot more to be in her position right now. Please pray for a miracle...
 
Dude respect...im sorry about all of this...but seriously dont you think that anyone over 70 should have to retake their drivers test and if they failed they should get their license revoked? i think its a good idea. but seriously dude im sorry about all of this and i hope that she come out of it, because from what you've said she sound like a really great girl
 
damn thats sucks. but look, gods a dickhead and this story proves i'm right. i hope she gets out of here comma and graduates.
 
Something has to happen tonight, or else they are gonna take her off life support because her family can't afford the $6000+ a day for it...

Oh by the way, that guy got like a $50 ticket for failure to yield and thats it. He should be in prison for (attempted) vehicular homicide. Don't you just love our legal system?
 
im really sorry to hear that. you know it does always seem like really bad things happen to really good hearted people. i hope everything works out for the best for her and her family.
 
well i think he meant cuz they have free healthcare.. hope she gets better man, thats a real tragedy.

well, i know this sounds corny, but she was sent to do beteter somewhere else i bet. and because she was such an amazing person, one of the most important things is, she will not be forgotten
 
A child's chances to live or die in a hospital shouldn't be based on a parents financial situation in a western country.

No comments like "that's life" or "that's business" should be justified.

I hope she can pull through it.

WAIT so the reason she is gona die is BECAUSE HER DAD IS TOO BROKE TO PAY thats FUCKED UP and doesnt make any sense. Hopsitals/state are suppost to cover for you if you cannot pay for your situation. I cant see a father being like oh aight i dont have enough money so peace.... hope she recoveres though man

and FUCK old people driving they need to put a law on that shit. Last year I was crossing this street on the crosswalk and there was some old lady waiting at the stop sign before it. And when I get about 1/2 way across she fucking guns her engine right into me and i go into the hood of the car and roll off to the side. Didnt get hurt at all but i called that stupid bitch out how can u be allowed to drive when you cant see a pedistrian crossing 5 feet in front of you
 
i feel really bad for this person and was about to show my sympathies, but then i came across the post that the driver only got a $50 dollar ticket. this disgusts and seriously angers me. i agree charges should be pressed against him and you should really make a big deal about this and take the jackass to court or something.

but on a positive note...cant the girls dad take out a loan to pay for it? he could pay it back monthly and it would work out perfectly fine. if the time draws nye, i hope you see this post and can get this idea to her dad. and i too pray for a miracle
 
its not as if the old guy wanted to hit her. his license should just be suspended, because i think he fells the same as us and rightfully blames himself for what happend. but if he knowingly drove with an invalid lisence, then sue his old wrinkly ass.
 
That's fucking shitty, but isn't that what health insurance is for? And her dad should contact the dude that hit her for some help. Maybe he will, if he's not a huge prick. And if she does die, he probably will be charged with vehicular manslaughter, so tell him that.

like theres this old woman in my nieghbourhood who I just coincidently happen to have come across her in the same spot more than once while driving somewhere a few times, where she too would be in her car coming home and i would be exiting....

and we'd meet right at the corner and shed go all crazy come to some big ass hault and cause a scene while giving me some dirty ass look....I mean come on its A FUCKING TWO WAY ROAD THE ROAD IS WIDE ENOUGH FOR YOU TO GO AROUND THE CORNER AT THE SAME TIME AS I PASS YOU, jesus......if SHE just didnt drive down the middle of the fucking road we'd all be fine....

theres no way they would pull the life support cuz her dad couldnt pay...The old man's insurance would absolutely have to cover it...you sure you got your story right?
 
im sorry to hear that....i think that all senior citizens when they reach a certain age....must re-take their drivers test to prevent shit like this from happening
 
i am really sorry to hear of this. Nelle sounds like an amazing person and as someone said before me, if she passes she will go on to do great works in her next life.

As for the old person, it actually is vehicular manslaughter, even if it was just negligence and they forgot to yield, our judicial system is b.s. some times.

But Nelle will be in my heart and prayers
 
Yeah, I have the story right, the guys insurance only covers so much, and its already been used and they pulled the life support at 8AM this morning, but she is still alve. I'm not sure for how much longer though, and I know her family is devasteted but theres nothing they can do in the amount of time that she has. And yeah, that is fucked up that the state wont pay to keep a 17 year old girl alive... I really hate this shit.
 
i call bullshit. the US gov would pay to keep a homeless person on life support if they would pull through. if they have pulled the plug, it's because the girl isn't going to make it.
 
wow thats terrible....even if she did survive, the fact that she had 2 strokes would make her life pointless because most likely she will be mentally disabled. a friend of our family whos basically my sister was in a crash 2 years ago and she became mentally disabled. its terrible. i would never want to live in her state. when i look at her its just.....scary i guess. theres no life in her even tho shes moving and drooling and staring at you like you were an alien
