Why do the fresh posters smell so bad?

These things are stinking up my room so bad it's unbearable, I'm pretty sure they're giving me a brain tumor too.

I've determined it's coming from the Abma and Hjorleifsson ones. They've got like a plastic texture and smell like death chemicsals. If I get a brain tumor from them they better give me some free skis.

all of my posters smell alright, maybe the markers are reacting with the posters or something?

i woke up this morning and part of the hjorleifson poster was on my face.

and when i came back from the dentist my oakley poster fell off.
