Why do so many snowboarders hate us?

cry me a fucking river. skiing had 50 years to build parks before snowboarders did. think about how far the sport would have come in that amount of time. if only the skiing establishment wasn't so close minded.

shaun white is better at snowboarding than 90% of humans (including me and almost everyone on this site) will ever be at anything.

the shred vid that kid posted was sick (not sure what it has to do with this thread, but whatever).

and to answer the thread creator's question: haters gonna hate. who gives fuck? just go ski or shred or snowlerblade or whatever and stop sweatin' it.

seriously the only snowboarders i know that hate on skiing suck. all the good snowboarders that i know think skiings awesome and they even say that they want to try it.
 
i dont hate snowboarders but they do sit around for most of the time. skis are much more convenient cus you dont have to do up your bindings everytime you get off the lift. my crew is all snowboarders except for a couple and i must admit i waste time standing, waiting for them to do their shit up. i must admit i sometimes, (not intentionally) cut boarders off.. snowboarding doesnt "suck", its just another way to go down the hill. we/they shouldnt hate cus its different.
 
They need to get the fuck out of my way and stop sitting down for a rest half way down the hill or in front of a feature.

Snowboarding to me is what fat kids did in the 90's.

But yeah the feud is unfortunate and honestly it makes both sides look bad. 95% of the homies (friends of friends included) I ride with ski and its rad, but outside of that group I've never met a park skier whose chill, kinda sucks especially taking into account they brush off an honest compliment to their stomped trick with a blank stare or "wtf" look on their face...
 
I have snowboarder friends and most of them suck and 2 out of the 20 kids I know that snowboard are nice to skiers and they are the best 2 people out of the 20, its pretty much the bad snowboarders that hate on skier. Therefore when I hate on snowboarding I'm given shit, and all the kids are like "WHY YOU BE HATING ON SNOWBOARDING BRO?!"

I hate 99% of snowboarders with a passion.
 
Sorry for dub post, but why can't we all get along we both love the mountains, and we both love to slide the slopes. Voulerz sets a good example in their videos about how snowboarders and skiers can get along.
 
On Gaper day people don't dress up like snowboarders they dress up like old-school skiers.

A lot of skiers are idiots: They can't read how boarders move around/turn (if the dude's on his toe his only option is to go to his heel, so don't pass him right up his ass on his heel side...), they don't seem aware they have blind spots at all. They also dress wack. And a lot claim to be awesome when they suck mad donkey balls...

No snowboarder i know hates new school skier, i ride with a bunch of them, but they hate on the gapers, and we got more than they do.

Most snowboarders are people, therefore they're assholes.

Similarly, most skiers are also people in which case they're assholes too.

See where I'm going with this?
 
Youd be surprised. They are plenty of 12 and 13 year olds who go out of their way to be so gay. Killington has a ton of kids that I hate. Some skiers are just annoying as fuck
 
IDE be pisses too if I had to lug that thing around like a three year old hugging my leg all day. Seriously though if you're a dick, putting a snowboard on isn't going to change that. There's plenty of cool snowboarders out there don't waste your time on the loser knuckle draggers who rip on skiing because they knows it's way steezier.
