I wore a bandana once and it was frozen within the first two hours. I guess they are a plausible option for those warm spring days, but i usually go naked in that case.
They're easier to aquire than face masks, plus they look way steezier. In addition, my hero Tom Wallisch wears them (as stated above) therefore they must be cool. Right?
Yeah they freeze faster but 99% of facemasks look like something my dad would wear so I'll gladly take the bandana. Not to mention the mask will ALSO feel like shit after about 20min??? As if breathing directly into something thicker won't trap moisture like a bandana.
Because park skiing is a fashion show. Look at gear talk, one of the longest threads on NS is 2010/20111 outerwear. Kids on here love to bitch about what looks good and what doesn't.
i dont wear them if its cold or snowing i put on a balaclava but in spring or summer sessions it keeps the sun of your face so you dont have to worry bout getting burnt.
I really dont know anyone who wears one anymore. Most people i know / see wear yowwies or backlavas. I think bandanas are just cheeper but i prefer a yowie. They look better and are warmer and more breathabul
