Why do people like Tim Tebow?

i bet he even prays for barber now.

and he should after laying a spell on him. i am not too much into that "thing", but he has to have some sort of voodoo-like puppet of barber under his shoulderpads and ripping his head of with 1:59 left and his arm of in OT.

i think he is a good RB actually. he is hard to get on the ground. those two plays, yeah, thats just blackout time, but apart from that, he made a lot of plays and did some tough running on the TD drive.

altogether there is no doubt that the bears win this with either cutler or forte in the mix.

hes redefining the position of qb. in the old days. the qb was a fat block with a good arm. with tebow itts like the broncos have an extra player or running back. other teams lose because with tebow being like an extra player the other team has essentially been redcarded and down a player. think about it. hes the new breed of qb he can throw decent but can also play like a rugby player.

nah, thats been goin on since the 60's. ever heard of fran tarkenton? ya. randal cunningham? mike vick? steve young? the list goes on.

tebow isnt redefining shit other than he is the first son of god to play in the NFL.

Or ever watched an Air Force Academy football game? Or the wildcat formation? Renamed version of the same shit every team with a terrible passer uses.

well it looks like the luck's run out now. but hey, tebow had a solid game. eliminate a few of those dumb giveaways and it's a different game. bottom line, somebody has to figure out how to stop the offense of the packers / patriots, cause they dont even need defense when they're putting up 40 points a game. it's ridiculous. too many offensive weapons and qb's that are pretty near flawless

what Tebow has done with the teammates around him is incredible this season. Minus Decker and McGahee when he is healthy they have no weapons on offense. As a Green Bay fan, other than those two players, none of Tebow's WR core would even see the field. Period. Its hard to win when you give up 40+ points and can't make stops on 3rd down.

They have the second worst passing offense in the league. They haven't done anything with WRs.

#1 rushing offense and some serious luck on defense and special teams. That's the same thing that happened to Orton when he started 6-0.

As a Qb myself when I watch the camera from behind the play the WR aren't getting open for Tebow to pass to. You can't pass when no one is open, plain and simple. They have one of the least talented WR core's I have seen and it shows up in the stats book, I don't know how else to say it.

This has nothing to do with the fact that half his passes end up 10 feet over or 10 feet short of the receiver. Even when they do it's much harder to catch a wobbly pass than a spiral. He's not even consistent by college standards, his talent lies in the run and he's a master at exploiting it.

Dog, you play QB in highschool.

It's the easiest shit ever. OH, corner missed the jam now I can throw up a duck and hopefully my receiver doesn't drop it! The receivers are creating separation, he's just not the kind of QB that can make that throw. It's not a knock against him as a QB, he's just not developed to the point where he can fit it in there like more experienced QB's. It shows up in the stats book..because they're a run first offence you fuckin retard. He has 1100 yards passing, they only pass when absolutely necessary.

In his defense, he was trying to make something happen on 4th down and with that late in the game and the fact that he spun out of multiple sacks leading up to that sack, he had luck on his side to run into the backfield. just an embarassing outcome.

Dog? GTFO with this its the easiest shit ever crap. I PLAYED QB in HS, that doesn't mean I don't know and understand the game of football. The receivers are creating separation? I don't know what game you have been watching Tebows completed passes were in tight windows and only were completed when in rhythm, and were not wide open like a lot of Brady's throws were. And the broncos are a run first offense because they have no one to throw the ball to. Even when the ball is delivered there they drop it half the time as can be seen in last weeks game when Thomas dropped a TD. This is what you get when you trade away your best WR and acquire no one else to fill that spot.

Oh the corner missed the Jam now I can throw up a prayer? you clearly have not accounted for safety help over top so to throw up a prayer is going to be picked by safety help if you have not looked them off and set up your throw. But I guess I wouldn't understand that because I played HS football. what a joke

Cuz safety helps always there...like when Ochocinco scored his TD today. You fuckin noob. They bite on other routes, it happens with EXTREME regularity in high school football. Playing press coverage doesn't always mean there's safety help over the top nubsauce.

I've played every position but center in high school football, I think my football acumen is at least passable.

why aren't you the fucking renaissance man of football then. Most of the time safety help is there, you pick out one specific play where a DB was undisciplined and bit on something underneath and say "theres no safety help" like its a generalized thing. Never as a QB can you not account for safety help, but its specific to the presnap read.

your right "Playing press coverage doesn't always mean there's safety help over the top" however, you were referring to Tebow, and then turn around and use a NE play as an example. Completely different plays with completely different defenses. One play doesn't translate to the entire game.

You seriously sound like you watch NFL network and haven't ever played football in your entire life. Or you're like 15. Either or.

honestly he really was throwing the ball well, I dont know what ducks you guys are referring to but in general he put the ball where it needed to be tonight. With that said our defense looked pitiful and those turnovers killed us

Neither. I don't have time to watch the NFL network nor do I have cable for it. and I could give you my statistics and record as a QB but that would only make me seem self righteous as a player which I am not because statistics are earned as a team. Tebow passed the ball fine tonight and the problem was not Tebow but turnovers and the defense not being able to stop Brady. If people want to criticize Tebow on the level of Manning Brees, Brady, then you have to compare the players around them as well. I don't think anyone could argue that the Broncos offensive weapons are on the level of those other teams, and if you would like to I would love to hear your argument.

"It's the easiest shit ever. OH, corner missed the jam now I can throw up a duck and hopefully my receiver doesn't drop it!"

That to me looks like you either are saying Tebow throws ducks or are implying it.

Tim Tebow is an attentions seeking hore. He waits until the last second right as the defense is closing and then makes a wild brake for a 5-yard gain. EVERY SINGLE PLAY

It looks to me like you're trying to dispute the widely known fact that Tebow throws ducks almost exclusively, you are now disqualified from this conversation.
