Why do people hate snowbladers so much?

why is there so much snowboard hate in a thread about snowblading?

i will shifty your fucking head off while i drink beer through a cigarette. i dont hate on skiers, you shouldn't hate on snowboarders.
 
only 15 year olds who've been force fed tolerance for others think snowboarding is acceptable

knocking into my feets on the lift, scrapin their way down everything, riding around blind to half the mountain
 
i went into my local ski shop and asked them if they sold snowblades. They looked at me and laughed, and said "Henry, first of all nobody buys them, and secondly you are not asian."

Snowblading is awesome, but also really retarded, where i work there is a pair of community snowblades made out of little kid skis, they are so small the ski binding is dragging of the back of the ski....Worst thigh work out ever!
 
we've got a box-rectangle thing going on here. i said only 15 year olds hate on other sports, not that all 15 year olds do it
 
bugs me when i see a bunch of snowbladers on one big trail and they are shooting in and out of regular skiiers that are trying to go on their way, they think that somehow this is supposed to impress most regular skiers, but unfortunately it just pisses me off.
 
ya this is my friend on a pair of skis that i am pretty sure are not classified as snowblades, they are tiny and about 15 inches long. A crazy old hippy where i work made them back in the day and now lets us use them whenever we want!

a few weeks ago there was this guy at the halfpipe with snowblades on and he had to start at the top of the hill then go over the place people normally go then when he got in the pipe he went like 5 feet up. it was so funny just seeing this guy go. he would also intensely jam pout to his music when dropping in. overall its funny to watch people try and do park with them on.
 
Most people I know that snowblade do it for fun and also ski. It's just a fun thing to do outside of skiing because they are so similar.
 
more like its for people with balls of big steel. those things are so much more difficult to ride there's practically no balance points haha. it's basically the equivalent of strapping up rollerblades and bombing a huge hill. my props go out to Skiboarders, but they still look like goons.
 
do you mean read the OP, where he said he believed that most skiers hate snowboarders?

or do you mean read the rest of the thread posted after my comment, where some people are hating on snowboarding (15 year olds and people who act like 15 year olds) and some people arent?
 
you may not know but check your history, you might be surprised to see who got their start on those............................
 
I think when you're talking about snowbladers you mean snollerbladers, and no one hates them thats just silly.

You'll earn a whole new "respect" for the "sport" of "extreme" snowblading.

^^^they are called Revel8 skiboards and they are made really good and are nothing like "snowblades"
 
So many riders rocked skiboards back before twin tips became popular. Does Mike Nick, Iannick B, Nicky Adams, Jason Levinthal ring a bell? I'm sure Will Wesson and Andy Perry sure do!
 
Here is why

1. They are FUCKING dangerous

2.They believe snowblades are the easier way to ski

3. They have absolutely no control on any hill they go on

4.They cant use chairs properly

5.They invade the park, rape the jumps, destroy the rails and somehow always there waiting for you in a landing.

If Id work at a shop and someone asks to service snowblades, I would throw them across the store like a maddman and give him a pair of skis and ask for an instructor
 
because they are a novelty. funny hahaha not omg that kid is sick. the obvious ? why would you ride something slower less stable and in turn allows you less ability to progress? you wouldnt! its for fat young gapers. so if you wear em ur gonna get hated on end of story. its like the jocks hate the skaters but they both hate the fat little nerdy kids even more. thats y they will both stop hating each other to hate on fat little nerdy kids.

But these are the only skiblades/boards that should ever be allowed on a hill. The good ol big foot, I have a pair of these that i got as a present was i was like 6. sooo fun but dangerous haha.
 
A week ago up at carinthia I saw this snowblader hiking a box and he kept eating shit over and over again. He was so determined lmao
 
i think you blind, you ski at bristol and the snowboarders are very good there, mabey if you skied and watched youd see that they are, insted of post whore on ns.

 
pretty sure it is man.. if you think im saying i think i see the line SKI binding, yeah no that's not it obviously. but im pretty sure that gold binding is line's last serious skiboard binding, from like.. idk 2000
