Why do people hate on tanner hall?

Sorry but i have never heard anyone hate on him. Seems like everyone is actually pumped on him to me especially because he is returning to competition
 
well if people have its cause of those things he said like the real mountains thing or those things he said which he apologized fore
 
it used to be way more common a few years ago, but now that he's cleaned up his act a bit more and become even more of a legend the hate has dissipated. it flares up again sometimes when stuff happens like REAL snow on REAL mountains, but on the other hand, things happen to make him liked even more. like when he won x pipe and the rednecks watching thought simon shouldve won and threw snowballs at him on his last run, and everyone on here defended him (rightside spinning, more hits, grabs etc) and he was like fuck yeah thanks dudes
 
first off, hes an amazing skier! so balla! and i respect that, but his attitude is kinda like shawn whites! he thinks hes better than everyone. However after watching his film "like a lion" i think he is chillin out a little more
 
i am a huge tanner fan, and most of the hate his because HIS ANKLES ARE BROKEN!! but the other he got is from when he was drunk and did stupid shit he is now a much better person and it i think a lot has to do with c.r. he was the one who got tanner back on the right track and when he passed tanner seems to have a better prespective of life. my 2 cents.
 
tanner inspires me and after watching like a lion it was crazy. fuck any one who hates on him I wanna see them do what he has done / end rant
 
Ever since like a lion came out people have gained a lot of respect for him; before at the red bull coldrush he made some pretty big claim while he was drunk. But now people know that he has gotten over more less of his alcoholism
 
tanner, and the entire c-crew, got hated on for acting thug.

He was hated for gorilla steeze (and winning everything)

He was hated because he provided some less than inspiring commentary in movies such as yearbook and TBC

He was hated because he said some shit at x-games

He was hated because he has deviated from park and talked shit about park skiers

Other than that, incredible skier

No one really hates on him anymore, at least since Like a Lion came out. Much respect for the man. The sport wouldn't be where it is today without him.

However, he is fun to make fun of. Not out of anger or hate, but because it's funny as fuck. CAPS LOCK JOKES ARE FUN.

I hardly hear anyone hate on Tanner, besides maybe someone yelling my ankles are broke when their friend cases a jump but besides that most people respect him.

Its like bizzaro world. Dumont was the hero and tanner hall was hated on sooooo hard
 
noo, dumont was never NS's golden boy. maybe for a second like when forward came out. but yeah people used to hate on tanner it was popular for a while (like around C crew time) but it's mostly over now
 
I think the real escalation point was that one X-Games, where Gagnier won over Tanner - it really caused an uproar on both sides.
 
I know a bunch of little park rats that hate on him hard, but that's because they compare him to tom, which is like apples and oranges.They think Tom is the greatest alive and would probably suck his dick

anyways, i've never seen any hate on tanner hall. tanner hall is the king, the real skiing really is powder and big mountain.
 
I don't understand how anyone could hate on Tanner. He is a legend, a hero, and is one of the best skiers to have lived. He is a source of inspiration for alot of people, but some just look down on him cause of his rasta roots and shit... Fuck the haters :)
 
I understand why. Because he's an egotistical dick. He hates for no reason. Despite what seems to be popular opinion here, there are very few pro's I respect less.
