Why do people hate on sector nine?

its just a run of the mill nothin special company that everyone and their mom thinks is so good that dont longboard, its like all the kids that ride 1080s because thats what the guy in the shop said was good, but you could get something better like dumonts or t-halls, you know?

i was riding land yauts for a while then switched to the sector nine platnium trilam and i love it. Its not a bombing hills board but it does carve like a dream. I think its kinda like burton in boarding or like the guy above me said with the 1080. Every knows about them, and alot of people have them so they get hated on

sorry man, ive gotta disagree with you. although there are other board companies out there sector nine makes a great product. they are meant to have a cruisy surf feel. they are definitely not a longboard for bombing shit. you can but sectors, especially the bamboo has an extremely flexi deck so you can really put alot of power into your carves. If your focus is solely bombing big hills then yes go with a longer stiffer board thats going to be more stable at high speeds. if your looking for a long board to cruise streets and have a fun time on sectors bamboo boards are great.

What do you guys make of Lush Longboards. Our student snowsports organisation is sponsored by them and we give a lot out as prizes.

yeah man we all have our own opinions i got 2 dregs boards and my buddy has a sector nine, and i just dont like the feel and i guess im basing my judgement on one board

sector nine are concave, rock hard, heavy pieces of wood.

get a gravity. my friend has one. they're cheaper and so much better than sector nine. the funnest board at that price

there is a reason sector nine is popular, cause they make quality shit. its nothing fanncy but they ride pretty well and they have a large variety of boards. i personally like my arbor but the sector nine minis are so much def pick up the bamboo mini. sooooo fun

LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED LOADED

I disagree completely. My bomb hills deck is the shit for you guessed it, bombing hills.

It's got extra layers of wood for increased stiffness, and more concave than you can shake a stick at. Randall r-2s loosened to the max and 76mm gumballs, it turns on a dime, never gets wobbly, and can carve hard even at very high speeds.

i wish i was able to try them. i found out about them through longboarddirectory, but i couldn't fin anywhere that sopld them besides online. seems like they could be pretty fun, and have some pretty nice shapes.

why the fuck would you not like sector nine, if you seriously care that much about what people think of what brand of long board you have you need to straight up shoot your self in the face. Their boards are so smooth

lush is owned by sector nine. in other words, they are a slightly more deluxe version of the sector 9s, but they DEFINATELY arent worth the money!!
