Why Do LINE Skis Suck So Much?

I got my after bangs when they first came out so almost 3 years ago now. The bases are still impeccable with a little wax and my edges almost look as good as day 1. I don't know about you guys, but a ski that last's me 2 and a half seasons of riding and still preforms and looks almost as good as day, is a good ski to me. This pair of skis will last me another 2 seasons for sure then they will become urban skis. I love my after bangs.

I've always been happy with my LINE skis purchases...from the original FLY skiboards to the first 1260 to my current Afterbang's and many in between :-)

Do you even ski? ERic pollard makes beast skis with awesome graphics and their park skis have an amazing build. I'm not a huge fan of some of their park graphics but the blend kicks ass and the prophet is such a reliable ski. Their new influence is also an amazing ski. Line has received so many awards this year. Were you showed up by a guy on lines skis or something. Dude get off your period.

I cant speak for the newer models but my anthems form 2009 are great. This is my 3rd season on them and will probably be their last, but they have done everything I want them too; from trees to park.

why has no one payed attention to this post? I've never ridden lines (and personally this is the first time i've seen something wrong) but my god thats terrible..

The skis do that because the people that ride LINE ride hard. They push the sport and never let their gear hold them back. Other company's skis delam even more often. Sammy Carlson goes through a new pair of salomons every time he hits urban. How do I know this? I live in Hood River, OR with him.

inb4 "pics or it didn't happen" (I'll get pics of sammy stripping the bindings off of 3 day old suspects with 16 edge cracks and throwing them away)

Line's pro model skis are some of the best on the market, and have been since the EP Pro's came out a while back. As for the graphics, I think they look sick. It's a nice change from the graffiti style of so many skis these days. Pollard's art style is awesome. But, as always, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

They are sponsered its totally different. You ride for whoever will pick you up and while line may not make the absolute best product, they do a lot for will and andy so they are probably very happy with Line.

Line skis have I think the best vision, motive and treatment to their atheletes. They give off just a great fun vibe that just makes me wanna ski, they may not make the best of the best products but as a whole theyre one fucking bad ass company.

You don't ride for whoever will pick you up. That comes across as desperate. You never what what kinda stuff companies offer their athletes when it comes to contracts.

Like Pollard, I'm sure Will and Andy have a huge say in product development, this helps with constant improvement in a companies product.

If you don't like a company, and they have to do a lot to make you stay with them(you're making it come off as bribery), then why stay with the company?

I never said they don't like the company, I was implying they probably do really like the company, and are satisfied enough with the product to stay with them, Line makes a pretty decent product anyway, just not he BEST product, IMO.

No worries, the way it sounded was like that Line has to do a lot to keep them. I fully support Line too, andbive said it before, but I have been supporting them for 8 years. Also, I wrote "What what", meant "know what"

Yeah regardless of some of their under par skis, Line is definetely one the best brands in skiing as far as giving back to the sport.
