Why Do LINE Skis Suck So Much?

Why is it that LINE skis are so bad? Cant they realize that the skis they make are garbage and only stupid people would actually pay full price for these hunks of you know what? Like Ian C and Axe Kill would be so much better if they rode on something other than the crappy LINE skis, like their signature ski the AfterWangBang.

I know a ton of people that got ripped off buy actually buying LINE skis. I don't know why they were ever popular. Stupid graphic, horrible quality, heavy, like come on people.

What are your thoughts, I know a lot of you are LINE fanboys, but I know not everyone is stupid on here!

Easy to get hold off readily available on sales, Not everyone has all the oil in the world to splash out on overly expensive skis. Depends on what your preferences are.

Over-generalizations are fun....

Line's Prophet line of skis are actually pretty decent for all-mountain skis. Their powder line is also ok as well. I wouldn't say they're the best out there, but they're not that bad. And even the Chronic's are fun for what they are.

One thing you have to remember is, you get what you pay for, LINE works for people who need low-budget park skis, they're not going to be the best out there, but for their price, they're actually decent (again...not the best, not the highest quality, but you get what you pay for...)

As for Compton, he's gonna do what he does no matter what skis he's on (in fact, he's better than he was when he rode 9's...) And Max Hill would have a tough time finding a ski soft enough to butter and press the way he does...again, it fits a niche.

That being said, I probably wouldn't PAY for Lines...although I'm very picky when it comes to paying for skis (I choose high-quality if I'm going to put money down)...but this is the first year I've actually paid for skis in like 3 years....so, yeah.

Come out from behind that alias...

Line is legit, and they've done so much to innovate skiing.

I've ended up skiing on a pair each season, for the past 8 years, and I've loved every ski I've been on.

i will admit i dont like anything about line skis but no need to make a thread calling people who do support them stupid.

Are you fucking kidding? The Bacon's and Opus's are the shit!

and their park skis are super cheap. which is the most important aspect when buying a ski you're going to trash on rails.

My invaders are the most durable ski that I have personally skiied. They have over 150 days on them with only 1 inch of edge missing. Well worth the 150 dollars I dropped on them.

lol this. my line prophet 90's from 2 (3?) years ago are still perfect. charge hard too.

anthems were the shit and this years bacons are the shit.

in your rant about how much they suck you never once mentioned anything to support your opinion. so this thread isnt only stupid but its also pointless.

im not saying the skis themselves suck, as i've never tried them, but no matter how good they are i would never get some as i just despise the graphics, all are gay as hell, apart from the bacons.

Isn't this the third thread you've made in 3 days on the same subject? Didn't I give your punk ass a nice history lesson on the first thread? There would be no "newschool" if not for line. You don't have to like em but show some respect where it's due homie.

so in other words, when your mom takes you to the ski shop you pick out the best looking graphic ski. graphics are the LAST thing you should give a shit about in a ski. I would rather ski on something that fits what I like in a ski that has dicks all over the topsheet. rather than has fucking dope ass graphics and is the shittiest ski being sold to the public.

you also made a thread shitting on a company who does a lot for the ski world and actually make quality products, and is owned by k2 (so I guess you cant buy k2s anymore either). AND YOU HAVE NEVER OWNED A PAIR.

gtfo, I hate people like you.

i dont go or whichever graphic i like best, i try out a bunch first begore i buy them, and my mate has k2s i dont plan on getting any anyway, theres more than enough good skis with good graphics but i could just never ski on something with gay aliens and monsters but thats just me

Stop replying to this obvious troll thread. Lines are neither the worst nor the best skis on the market. They're very good at what they do, which is provide a redily available, cheap, durable, fun ski to whoever needs it. It's obvious this person just wants to stir up angry answers.

Although i dont agree with op this is true. The primarily white graphic for a pow ski probably wasn't the best choice although the graphic is sick. I like line and what they have done and how they have innovated.

invaders are a solid ski

i still have mine from 2009. i bet i have at least 365 days on those skis with no problems at all.

I saw the person who bought my first twin tips (02/03 Line 1260s) last season. I got them back in 03, and they were still being used.

nah man, living in scotland its hard to try out different skis, and unless a ski is phenomenally priced, reviewed and visually i love it im not going to buy it without trying it out first is all i mean.

line's skis don't suck, only their budget skis have crap quality, and they're so cheap seriously what do you expect? all of the skis pollard has made are great, and im sure most everything else is good too.

This. Outside of the low budget skis, which fill a nice niche, their skis are great. My 09/10 Chronics are still going strong, zero edge cracks and just as poppy as the day I got them.

OP needs to try line skis before he hates.
