I dont know about younger kids, but as I got older skiing became more and more expensive, and as I skied more and more I began to go through gear at an alarming (expensive) rate. sponsors help keep the dream alive, and anyone who is sponsored should be really grateful to their sponsors and try to support them as much as they can. whatever form that takes is cool with me. I still have a great relationship with my first sponsor who I connected with through Hookit.com. Sponsorship for the right reasons is beneficial for both parties involved, and that is nothing to hate on.
