Its the program you use to edit your video. If you use final cut instead of imovie the video looks alot better

Thats funny. I entered a contest that was probably rigged, lost the contest, and LG gets to use my footage for whatever they want. 10k or 100k was the purse though, so it was worth the chance.

I was in best buy the other day and there were some Ian Provo go pro shots playing on the tv. I was stoked

so i'm trying to use this thread for my benefit... but it isnt working perfectly
i took my gopro footage, opened it in mpeg streamclip, and exported it to an .MOV in the "h.264"format. after doing this final cut express will let me import the files and it will even play them... but when it plays it lags and skips and i only see little blips of the shots. i can hear the audio but it doesnt play fluently
is it solely because the computer cant handle the gopro footage? i have a macbook which handles most everything else, so i'm wondering if i'm still doing something wrong
if someone could help me that would be great. it's depressing to take a bunch of footage then cant watch it fluently when editing it.
