Why do girls not post pics of them skiing?

when i ski, and the people i ski with, we usually dont worry about taking pictures and shooting for a video. we just go out there and have fun, not worrying about that stuff. that's why i have basically nothing.

only pic of me is the one soxripper took, thanks for that, and thanks for sugarloaf posting it here.
 
TheTroubleMaker can ski. girls take note- if you post pics and vids like hers, you will EARN props. she's stylish with her slides for sure. there's a huge difference in the quality of the stuff in her profile and the stuff in Rachael's.
 
It might just be my warped perception but i do not believe there are too many "crews" or groups of girls who go out and film/photogrpah eachother's skiing, on top of it being a male dominant sport already, this contributes to the sparce photographic evidence of girl's skiing abilities on this fine website.

plus mad bitches be postin fine pictures off the hill that are more fun too look at than skiing pics so keeep dem booty shots comin
 
a number of us whistler girls are making a film this winter. It is called SparkleMotion (yes, that is correct) and stars me, erica, j2, teri and MORE!

anyway, its just that there are less girls than guys and i don't see why someone should put up something that doesn't represent them. (unless its for a luagh or fun and they don't care)

kinda hard to believe this is the same site with people asking for tips on how to spin and getting tha encouragement, when people just knock videos. everyone has to start somewhere girl or boy.

well, if you post pics of yourself being super sketchy or whatever, you had better be ready to be ridiculed. it's ok if people want to post pics like that, they just have to be ready for people to be brutally honest with them.
 
Has a girl even hit a jump before? I mean seriously, (yes I know a girl has hit a jump before thanks for not pointing that out) the only pictures of videos anyone posts on this site of "GURLS RIPPIN 4 EVA BFF"! is of some girl standing on a box, I've seen 4 year old ski bladers going bigger. Not so say that the point of skiing is to be good at it, it's obviously to have fun. But when they are blatently trying to showcase their skills (or incidentally, lack thereof) they should at least try. I don't see why girls are so bad at freeskiing when it is basically gymnastics. I know a bunch of girls that ride the bird that rip down the mountain. I just don't understand why girls can't spin/flip off a jump, it's not like you need lots of muscle to do it well, it actualy probably would hinder you to be muscular. Look at all the male pro park skiers, they are basically girls with penis's.
 
you're right, girls never hit jumps, even the ones that "give girls a bad name"

Obviously that wasn't my point, it was more of a question as to what is holding girls back from being as good as men at skiing.
 
i really don't like you. you commented on one of my pictures that is listed under another user name. unfortunately, i do not live in mammoth like you, so there aren't any sick places close by to ski. i ski at a place that is basically a big hill, with a semi-ok park, and it doesn't really matter who goes in it. i don't go to college close to a ski resort, and it's just the start of the season, so i don't see why you had to post a nasty comment. usually for the most part, no matter how good you are, someone will always either applaud your effort, or encourage you to get better, especially if you're female. you complain that girls don't post pictures of themselves skiing, and finally when someone does, you go and leave a bitchy comment. HYPOCRITICAL! sorry not everyone is from mammoth and has the same opportunity to ski there as you.
 
i dont even have any pictures of me skiing. i dont feel like making someone sit there with a camera while i get to ski. i'd rather if we're lucky enough to be on the snow at all, why not just ski and have fun?

(i'm from the beach and its 4 hours to the snow, minimum. getting to ski isnt an easy thing for us, we cant just walk out our door and drive the 20 min to the local mountain. we dont take snow for granted, we're lucky if we get to ski. not that youre not. its just more of a trek for us. i mean come on, the biggest mountains near me are the sand dunes in Monterey. and i do have pictures of me snowboarding the dunes.)

My reason? I'm the camera bitch.. I'm always behind the lense. There's so very few pics of... none of my doing jumps, and when there is, I don't look great anyway, i have a sequence of me bailing on a three, and i think that's it. Hahahaha. I've got..
