what is the purpose of the rossignol and look bindings pivoting

Skiing in NC aint so bad

I hate it when snowboarders think they are so cool because they can 50 50 a rail

are u serious, maybe prevent injury when yr in a bad crash, when force is more on yr heel than toe.

You can do it, if you try, if not oh well, then do somthing else!

Eastcoast better than nothin'

lol, if you post a question like this at least add "Im serious" or soemthing so we know hahaha, otherwise it's hard to detect through all the ns sarcasm

It's gonna effect yr skiing so much you'll have to start

over from scratch and take courses and relearn everything. Basicly they hold yr boot to the ski,

& transfer energy from yr body to the ski, any binding

kinda does the job.

The pivot system was created to allow the boot to release laterally without the boots popping out sideways. The binding pivots to hold the energy from turns at high speeds and provide a buffer for the boot to pivot out of, therefore the energy is released into the binding, ejecting the boot rather than the energy being released into the femur causing stress and torque on the ACL, MCL and LCL (crucial ligaments in the knee!)

In loving memory of Josh Malay.
