Why did offaxis 1080s get low scores?

I can't understand why offaxis 1080s like Thovex underflip 1080 or jons cork 1080 did not get higer scores than other peoples regular 1080s(Hatveits, tjs, gagniers). Of course maybe they did more difficult grabs and held them a bit longer, but still doing them offaxis with still alot of style must be alot harder. Anybody else agree?

I agree, I thought Candide's was much more technical and he went bigger. Even ESPN's crappy camera work caught that he hung in the air longer. His jump reminded me of his 110' underflips in Superpark the movie. Sick style.

idk, the judges r not really good judges, i forget what everyone did, but i remember seeing a really tweaked grab and a switch unnatural 10, i think those 2 shouldve won

Candid had a really tweaked out off axis 10 and he had a grab in it. As for level of difficulty certainly harder than a straight up 10 he should have had at the least second if not 1st the judges just didn't know what the hell they were looking at pretty much.

thats all they were judging on though. It didnt matter what kind of 10 you threw, u just had to have the longest grab in with it.

I still think it;s stupid how they replaced slopestyle with this best trick. Slopestyle was way more technical, and the course looked sick. I'm miffed about that.

Who fuckin cares what its called, simple as this, Canide was upside down and his trick was strait up ill nasty but he got screwed. All you fools be saying oh but he didnt hold the grab, so? He did probaly the most difficult axis, most origional, and biggest 1080 of them all, that french fool got robbed

i didnt even see candide for some reason, was i watchin the same xgames?

oh and do we ever know who the judges are?

who the fuck sais miffed? but candide should have def won it, and if bibby landed then he should have took it!!!

That suprises me that pollard would judge good for everyone doing sw 10s i bet he would have jugded higher for a sick sw 7 like pep
