i think 95% of this website is kids who think if you dont have the right skis, the right gear, the right clothes what ever else you will look bad while skiing. i say fuck it. just ski to ski. wear what you want to wear. not wear what looks cool becuase you dont want to made fun of by other guys on what type of clothes you have on. ski on what skis you want to have. not the skis that everyone say you got to have cause they are so cool, fuck that shit. just get skis that you like. not what people say are cool. before i go on and go i will end it hear with this message; just ski to have fun, dont try to impress everyone in the park or where ever. Just ski

ahh i agree with you, i hate it when people on comments for pictures are like "ahh gay helmet" or something like that..

but i gotta admit its more fun to ski with cooler clothes or better skis etc etc

this is a gay thread, who would ski to be cool? we all do it to have fun. its just like any thing else, people always want to think they look better and make you feel worse about your self. did you need to post to know that?

i personally like to have nice outerwear and stuff just cuz thats what im comfortable in, not because 10 other kids have them or because someone will make fun of me if i dont. i ski for fun 100% what else is there too it? all the kids on this site don't wake up every possible morning to ski and bust their asses for a sport they kind of like.

 
I'd rather be a snowboarder thinking I was cool, then a skiier that dresses like a boarder and rides like one.

I totally agree with this thread. I saw a dude this weekend wearing an old beat up north face, duct tape on his pants and riding the old yellow Rossi 7X's, (if any of you kids are old enough to know what those are) and this dude was skiing with more power and style than I even see in movies. This cat was up there skiing not to be seen, but skiing totally for himself and I respect that 110%

Im just skiing too have fun! today i wanted to have real much fun, so i took a pair of hold head skis from the barn. they where like 2meters long. and fucked around on those having fun with stupid tourist all day

 
you do have a point. with the skis i used to sell them and you get peope who have never skied wanting to but big pow skis or world cup race and here i am trying to tell them that it's to much ski for them.

 
yeah everyone wants the coolest gear and stuff. a lot of people where i ski have the sweetest gear and skis. ...the whole get up. but they can't ski. its not about the attire. ya know?

yeah i dont get why people get new skis every year, yeah ur skis may take a beating but atleast use them for 2-3 years unless ur rich n really feel u need a new pair ever year

 
^ your wrong..if you ski to have fun and ski hard in park your going to ruin your skis...trust me

i used these skis for a month and a half...sometimes you do need new skis every year depending on how hard you use them...and most people wouldnt ski if they werent having fun

Not true. I know alot of people that don't ski to have fun. I know a kid who has been in alot of the magazines last year, and he's a descent skier.. But he let it get to his head.

He only skis if there is money involved. When he skis he wants to make sure that you know how cool he is, and that you saw the last trick he did.

He doesn't do it for the love of the sport and the fun of it.
