Why can't i spin on tramps now!?

I used to not be able to backflip, frontflip, lincoln, rodeo, or underflip on tramps. After i learned all those, (CLAIM) i cant seem to spin anymore. I used to be able to spin no problem both ways. Now i can barely get a natural 360 and oddly enough i can spin unatural 540s? I think theres something wrong with my technique in jumping. I tried popping then spinning but would always get off axis/spin too slow. If i try to pop and spin almost at the same time, i would travel and end up not on the tramp. WTF?!

what am i doing wrong?

It is completely different from skiing because there is no forward momentum. My bet is that you are used to speed + spinning from the ski season, and now it is proving difficult to transition back to straight up and down. Just work at it for a bit and you will get it back. If you're having serious problems, just practice a single spin on the ground first and then work that back into the trampoline sessions.

watch your horizon, from all that flipping your probably getting used to breaking from the normal spin axis.

weird, exact same thing happened to me. i just focused on looking over my shoulder and keeping my head upright. my problem was that i would get a little bit off axis and open up, but if i keep my head up it works ok.

Kinda got the same problem but its skiing...I learned up to straight up switch 7's and then tried switch cork got those perfectly and now I can't get straight up switch anything but 1's

that happened to me for about an hour once. itll look gay but just do really straight spins for like half hour and then you should get teh feeling of stayin straight

what i do is toss a flip, then a spin. a flip, then a spin. and repeat that so that I don't get uncomfortable with those.

that sucks. I just learned rodeo 7's and cork 9's today. I'm stoked on that.

And some crazy grabbed cork 5. It's like an opposite lui kang (poked out forward) and a safety on the other foot.

exact same thing happened to yours truely. was confident spinning and then decided to put all my time into flipping. can frontflip, backflip, lincoln loop but then this afternoon i concentrated on spinning again. I literally couldn't even do a straight three. was concentrating on head and shoulders but really struggled. started getting annoyed so threw some 7's & 9's and just smacked down on the bed. crazy stuff!

After learning how to do Rodeo5's and Frontflips I can not spin 360, and when I do it's totally off axis. I feel like an idiot.

The same thing happens to me all the time not just once. I'll be spinning 5's and 7's on flat ground then I can't even do a 180 without getting really off balance and falling on my face. I just spend like 5 minutes doing 180s concentrating on being perfectly straight in the air and landing square on my feet then work my way up.

i cant to straight spins on tramps anymore either. when eve i try a 5 or 7, it turns into a cork. i still land it and it looks good, but i want to do a straight spin. even when i ski and snowboard, my straight spins are a little corked. and i still haven't fixed my problem because i don't own a tramp.
