Why can't I respond to threads??

Has anyone else had a problem responding to threads in the forums. What happens to me is that i go to reply and i see the message box where i'm suppose to type in something, but it wont let me type anything in. I click in the box and everything but i can't type anything in. Then after a minute of waiting on that page, a cursor pops up and i can start inserting text (i only found that out when i tried to make this thread). just wondering if anyone else has seen something like this?
 
yeah it's really slow for me right now too. usually i have to wait a few seconds, but not this long.

To Fix:

Go to My NS-->Account Tools-->Enable Fancy Editor? Click No.

You're sacrificing all the fancy tools like posting media and stuff, but you'll just have to go turn it back on if you need to.
 
yeah i gave up trying to respond, but i disabled the fancy editor thing and now it appears to be working fine!!
