Why are Sox tickets so damn expensive?

I want tickets, and if i ever find a game that isnt sold out, the cheapest seats available are 45 bucks, wtf, i got tix to shea stadium for 5 bucks.
 
go bosox, yankees suck. I get all my mets tickets on ebay, you find some random ass deals that people just want to get rid of the tickets. Who cares if its upperdeck, thats where everybody parties, gets drunk since not everybody is rich and snobby
 
small stadium = high prices, so they can afford to build a new stadium w/ more seating.

they think it is so amazing that every game is sold out, but it's not because they are good, it's becuase fenway is one of the smallest ballparks in the majors.
 
dude 45 bills isnt bad at all. plus every seat at fenway is fuckin awesome. last year i paid over 150 for each ticket. then again i was within an arms distance from the monster. i literally could just stick my arm out and touch it. so worth the money. and the sox won which made it even better.
 
you can get into alotta games if you jsut show up after the first with like $30. assuming its not a rivalry or near the end of the season...
 
Too bad the Red Sox won in '04 and the Yankees haven't won since '07. And don't give me that "Omg but the Red Sox only won 1 since 1918" bullshit, this is a new era. The Yankees suck.
 
anyone else thinks baseball sucks? Such a boring, lame sport that takes waaaaay too long. Playing REAL sports is were it's at.
 
If I could ever find sox tickets, I would drop how ever much necessiary for a seat. The sox are gonna kill it this year. And yanks blow.
 
Yah so fuck the redsox haters but upper bleachers are 12 bucks, bleachers are 23. standing room is 20 dollars as well...
 
demand son; if people are willing to pay that much money for shittier seats then there would be no reason to drop the prices its the way the world goes round
