Why are skis so much more expensive than snowboards?

and that setup is shitty. see the above post about core board companies and such by R. Fahey and stuff will make sense. I ride one of the cheapest park boards on the market, and it retails for 350, and my boots and bindings are each around 200. The boots and bindings are not the cheapest, but they are middle of the road price range. that ends up being almost 800 bucks with shipping.
so no i will not suck it. But don't choose the shitty setup you can get at Walmart

I never said it was going to be nice. Just like any decent ski set up. I'm sorry I can't build you a rossi 130 boot with ehp's and dukes for under 300 bucks. I'm just saying boards are A LOT cheaper than skis, at least at MSRP prices. (But really you're a fuckin moron if you pay MSRP)

I guess I don't really buy park skis anymore so my view on ski prices might be kind of skewed. But you can't lie about the prices of ski boots being absurdly high compared to snowboard boots.

It's because when you buy more expensive things it automatically makes you better so that's why skiers are so much better than snowboarders. There! I just solved two mysteries between skiing and snowboarding!
