sorry if this is a repost, but you guys are looking gay. stop doing ot. its not cool. who cares if steve stepp does it. you look like little fairy boys.

not hating,....actually yes i am. but also looking out for you guys

post your thoughts and to bitch at me if you think that it looks cool.

P.S. you all look like frootbooters when you are doing it.

actually people are rolling up the pants just over the boot tops. and i think ian compton started it, could be wrong though.

dont mean to hate, but yeah it looks terrible.

if your pants are getting ripped buck up and grab your crotch like a G.

I don't do it, but I don't think that it looks that bad. As long as the pants are baggy it looks fine, It looks silly when the pants are too small and tucked in though.

ahaha it looks terrible. whoever does it better shred 2x as much as everyone else to pull it off

you're gay for caring. there was time when people who wore their pants over their boots were considered gapers.

I do this when hiking something..

Or in the morning when im constantly adjusting my boots...

It's not a big deal

and im pretty sure anyone who rolls like this doesn't care if you dig it or not.

no. people. are. posers. most kids just copy the pros style. which isnt a bad thing. its just what happens in sports. i just wish that people would LOOK STEEZY AND PULL THEIR FUCKING PANTS DOWN!

i don't get it, why do you want other people to look the same way you do? do you get off on people who dress the way you want them to? maybe you should hire a voyeur to wear their pants over their boots for you.

you mean like this?

i dont really get it when your riding...looks pretty homo(just my opinion) and from what i'd assume you'd get a fuckload of snow in your boots. like whats the point? if your bitchin about your snowpants gettin dirty or ripped then you should probly get some proper fitting black snowpants. I get it for walking through parking lots or around the lodge( i do it sometimes) but when your actually skiing like wtf, dumb shit.

ma bad for hate.

because i dont like my pants draggin, and gettin caught on shit really i (claim) have had my pants get in the way on a rail and i hit my jaw. only time i dont is when its really cold, or dont feel like it. hell i do it on my baggy sweatpants too. but as stated i there not baggy, its different. but whatever.

if you've actually had your snowpants get in the way of you hitting a rail then you really need to re-evaluate your common sense and consult a size chart.

I forget mine up quite often. Usually it's fixed by the time I get off the chairlift.
I have skiied like that in the spring quite a few times. Keeps my pants from getting muddy.

ok first off, he dosent want people to dress like him just wants them to keep there fuking pants down where they should be. and two, your a skiier, why do you give a shit if your pants get a little muddy i though only metrosexual people cared about that, and if you wan them clean put em in the washing machine! this better not become a new "style"

and thats what i think ;)

i seem to see it more in like the scandianvian vids like watch empty pockets its in there quite a bit

definitaly the first person i saw do it was dylan curry. but hes just rediculously stylish so it doesnt even matter.

my theories:

1. these guys are wering full tilts which demand showing off

2. snowboarders have been doing it for a while and freestyle is a few year back from snowboarders when it comes to trends

3. forgot to put it down in the parking lot

in short, i have no opinion of this style

I don't really care how other people dress, to each his own, but this seems like a bad idea as far as function goes. I know that if i rolled my pants up while i was skiing (different for walking around if you don't want to rip up your pants) then i would get a ton of snow in my boots which would make me cold, uncomfortable, and ultimately a worse skiier because of these things, so i don't get it

I'm female, of course I care if I get muddy.
Besides, by spring I mean Mt. High/Bear. So basically a half mud half slurpie combination that really isn't enjoyable having to deal with at the end of the day.

Can't say that it bothers me too much. I do it when I'm not skiing but wearing pants all the tim, if I'm walking through the parking lot, hiking, etc... Sometimes you forget to unroll them. And I had my pants rolled up most of the summer because it keeps them clean and rip free. On my pants last season, the buttons on the bottom of the pant legs were broken, I tried safety pinning them but it didn't work. I ended up skiing with my pants rolled up every once and a while. It's really not that big of a deal... If you don't like it, don't do it.

so first it was cool to hang a bandana off your ass, then it was dope shit if you were wearing a neon suit, and fuck now we're all thugs...duh its only logical that the next stupid thing we can do is roll our pants up, shit someone should make capri snowpants right? I love skiing but the style trends are whacky...

you're gay for saying he's gay for caring. which makes me gay for saying you're gay for calling him gay for caring! AHHHHHHHH THE VICIOUS CYCLE!!!

I think they do it do elicit a response from all the insecure kids who worry and complain about what other people are wearing.
Looks like it's working.

I think it looks kinda goofy, but since the people doing it are not me, I don't really care, if one day I randomly start doing it against my will, there will be a serious problem, and I will probably have to start a thread about it, but since it does not affect me, I don't really care.

the only time i have rolled my pants up are when im walking to the parking lot. ive never even thought about it. i just do it. but i would never do it on the hill. looks awful and i dont like snow in my boots

sms has a little cord in the pocket that you pull and it gathers the pant up at the bottom so you don't walk on the cuff
