Why are irish people so proud?

bahahahah, what is there to be jealous of? also, there's only one T in "scotland". you sound pretty bitter.

and benedetto, i don't see what any of them have to be proud of. the fact that their great great great great grandparents came over on a boat? that's stupid, i don't get why people cling onto a tiny thread of heritage. unless you're a Carnegie or something, there isn't much to boast about in terms of immigration status.
 
not everyone is like that. your not cool because your a citizen of another country. obvsiously we're all american and citizens...so what if people are proud. they have a right to be proud. i know what you mean and i hate those kids too but your bragging because your scotish or scottish or whatever and think no one is as good as you. LOL every single one of my grandparents were off the boat. my dad had to learn english through public school. my parents lived old fashioned in little neighborhoods in the bronx, ny. and i'm not telling everyone to shut the fuck. so you shut the fuck up
 
i wasn't bragging, i was just stating that to make a point because it was relevant to the thread. its not something i talk about on a daily basis or anything. no one is as good as me? chill out, you're definitely misconstruing what i've said.
 
I also hate St. Patrick's day. On that day I intentionally wear my Dutch national soccer jersey to let people know that I am not "Irish" or embracing of their culture.
 
my friend is like 20% irish and is soo proud!!! idk why tho.. but i do agree that alot of irish ppl are proud..
 
you mean 25%? cause 20% would be 1/5th which would make no sense. meaning that he had 5 grandparents. im half irish and proud so suck it.

ireland has gaven the rest of the world alcholichs so ha ireland has contributed to the world!!!!!!!!!
