Why are a lot of park skiers dicks to each other?

Yo back to the original post, I feel that that is really true... It is pretty unfortunate that park skiers are like that to each other.. I ski regularly at Mountain Creek, and its hard not to feel intimidated by the older kids around you, and the little kids that curse off lifts and throw snow at others are not helping either. It has come to the point where I dont even ski with anyone at all anymore, and that kinda sucks, because hanging out around people with the same interest as you is really awesome. Hopefully we can become mature enough to help eachother out, especially to beginners..

its like that time back in the day when I was trying to hit chads and Bdog and his crew were all like "were going to shoot you with tech nines" and I was like "fuck you imma hit chads" and then i did. /cliam

The age range is def key here, most people who are dicks are usually freshmen in college and below or at least that is what i have noticed especially here on the east coast. If you go to smaller mountains skiers are way nicer. Places like Mt Sunapee that doesnt have a diesel park like Mt Snow or Killinton, you are probably going to find some chill as fuck skiers to link up with. Mt Snow on the other hand it might be a little harder to find a crew that will let you ride with them. Fortunately for me when i go alone i can always end up lapping with some other kid who is by himself of a smaller crew of people about my age.

because a lot of park skiers are rich boys that cannot even ski and think their cool just because their equipement is better... in fact that's what happen to me last winter in quebec city and those guys where real dick on their ski
 
I was waiting at the top of a run for some people to get ahead so no one got in my way. Some kid started yelling at me from the lift asking if i was sponsered. I looked away and he called me a fag. He was with his freinds and sounded like a absolute douche.

even at my own hill theres only one person to ski with and he cant handle me being better than him. If i spun more than him, or did something better than him, he would avoid me. Sometimes for weeks at a time. I eventually gave up on it and started skiing alone.
 
better skier =/= better person

Just get up with better people- and I'm not talking about skiing skill level- and the rest will come. You don't need to hitch your wagon to an asshole's star at all.
 
Immature people can become turds when they figure out that they're "the best skier on the mountain". You have to remember that just cuz you're the best skier in YOUR park doesn't mean you're that great, there is probably another terrain park somewhere in the world with 30 other kids that are twice as good as you.
