Why all the hate?

Why are there so many people here on ns who hate on snowboarders? I snowboard and I'm out there enjoying the snow and promoting the sport just like all of you skiers, I love the skiing community and I don't hate on skiers, so why all the hate the other way around?
 
cause snowboarders are tight pants wearing fucks.theyre all so hesh and gay.god why cant everyone be hyphy like tom wallisch?
 
Because you make threads like this. Haters gonna hate, get over it. What others think and say shouldn't effect you.
 
im cool with snowboarders who can actually throw down..but snowboarders who just 50-50 and boardslide are lame as hell. *im guessing your part of the second category*

Why are there so many people here on (transworld? burton?) who hate on skiers? I ski and I'm out there enjoying the snow and promoting the sport just like all of you snowboarders, I love the snowboarding community and I don't hate on snowboarders, so why all the hate the other way around?
 
That's why we hate snowboarders. Because they're so perfect and innocent and love everything and want peace for the world.

 
Dude. The same way you know skiers who hate snowboarders, we all, AS SKIERS, know people who hate us just because we ski... It's LIFE.

The same way not every snowboarder hates skiers, not every skier hates snowboarding.

Don't be a dumbass and come here and accuse us all of hating snowboarding, you're making snowboarders look even more retarded.
 
I dont respect anybody that doesnt throw down on the hill....if you suck then you are lame in my opinion lol.
 
don't call me a dumbass when you're being a tard. i never said ALL skiers hate snowboarders i know for a fact that's not true im not stupid. I'm asking about the ones who do, maybe if you could read you would have figured that out

i wouldnt hate on boarders if they didnt hate on skiers. all they do is think there better and they always say that snowboarding introduced skiing to the terrain park figure. which they did, but we could also say that we are better at it than boarders. which we are. Look at snowboard big air and skiing big air and then tell me how much more goes down in skiing. also boarders think they rule the park and just block the enterance and annoy the piss out of me. also if it wasnt for skiing there wouldnt be snowboarding
 
just the other day i was talking about how i wished i skied cause it looks cooler in the park and then someone said "why? snowboarders invented the park" and i told them that all skiing looks sicker in the park
 
Your question was fine until someone asked you why snowboarders hate on skiers and you responded by saying "I don't know any snowboarders who hate on skiers". I responded by jokingly saying that's because all snowboarders are sooo perfect and you lower my karma? Dude, really? If you want a legit response don't be a biased prick.

I personally don't hate snowboarders, I use to snowboard... and I think anyone who doesn't respect both needs to grow up.

If you want to know go ask a skier on the hill who you know hates skiing and don't post all over a skiing forum claiming you don't know a single snowboarder who has any hate for skiers making us sound like the bad guys.

 
i'm not trying to make skiers look like bad guys, if that were true and i didn't like skiing why would i want to be a part of ns? and personally i honestly don't know i could name that many people i know who hate on skiers because i board with skiers, as do most of my friends, so why would we hate on them? and btw tons of people lowered my karma within minutes of the thread being up when all i'm looking for is an honest answer
 
haha if i went to skiing i'd be slow as fuck and have to ski on my own outside of the park cause everyone i board with is fast
 
im not saying you in as a person. im saying in general thats what snowboarders say. i like boarders if there cool and throw down. but theres always a few that think there god and skiers should be on a different mountain
 
I don't hate snowboarders I just hate douche bags. That being said, it's not my fault that there are way more snowboarders who are douche bags than skiers (don't get me wrong, there are still plenty of douchey skiers).
 
i don't ride with those people. and it pisses me off that there are mountains that don't allow boarders i.e. Deer Valley in Utah
 
look, most of the time, i have no qualms with snowboarders. i personally ride with some snowboarders from time to time. that being said, it does sometimes annoy me when newer boarders make trail conditions shittier. it happens a lot on the east coast, boarders who aren't all that good skid down the trail. that annoys me, and i imagine that's one of the reasons boarders get a lot of hate.

there are also a lot of stigmas that go along with snowboarding. a lot of people (especially older skiers) have it in their minds that snowboarders are tools. now i know this isn't true, but from my experience, if somebody's being a tool on the mountain, more often than not it's a snowboarder. i could list off a bunch of examples, but i don't feel the need to. these actions just perpetuate the stereotypes about snowboarders. anyway, that's my two cents.
