Why 2030 is BULLSHIT

Maybe it will be normal? I've heard that the mini ice age is a result of something with the sun but global warming is caused by greenhouse gas emissions. So maybe it will cancel out

We can still have lot of time to work things out then. 2030 will be a very long time to give the world and people a chance to change what has foreseen.

believe it when you see it, they say every winter is going to be all-time every year and look what happens. how the fuck can we figure it out 15 years from now given the weather we've already been experiencing?

the sun runs on an 11-12 year cycle and they can use old data and computer models to predict solar flares and sun spots, the model they ran this time showed less solar activity which means it wont be giving off as much heat

if the heat isnt reaching earth it wont get trapped by the greenhouse gases warming earth up

solar activity has more of an impact on earth than humans do (currently)

But solar activity has very little effect. It's the orbital parameters that actually matter. ~1% change in insolation vs up to 40%. Ice ages are caused by those changes, not by solar activity.

And no, this was not a major cause of the little ice age either. That was a series of large tropical volcanic eruptions with a dash of human population reduction.

Who tf even knows. "Its a record breaking summer" when the record it broke was from 1897. There's always crazy weather. No doubt global warming is effecting shit though.

I agree with this person! Milankovitch cycles (every 26 ky) have been the cause of glacial oscillation in the past. "Mini" ice ages are usually attributed to certain volcanic activity, although some volcanic activity can have to opposite effect, too. With the number of factors contributing to the climatic condition at any given point in time, it is nearly impossible to speculate what the weather will be doing at 1, 15, or even 100 year intervals. All we can know is that, besides this one study that has the internet going bonkers, all other evidence gathered in the last 50 years or so has pointed towards the atmosphere becoming somewhat warmer somewhat faster than it has in the past.

i agree with you. if anything id think it would cancel out, but cant know for sure

ugh no thank you, I'd sooner move to antarctica.

Looks pretty limited down there. Only one rope tow and you have to cozy up the the New Zealanders for almost zero vert.
