id say photoshop but it really looks like someone took the time to design that, so nevermind. such a progressive topsheet

not a photoshop, but weird that they only seem to make kids' skis. Also, I'm not sure why you think the topsheet is progressive, it's pretty cliche and looks almost exactly like an old Chronic.

there's a pretty interesting documentary about the history of world industries around somewhere. i forget the name, but its quite good

Definitely the real deal. They're capped and only had kids size available at SIA. Palmer is getting in on the action as well. Pretty interesting to see where they go.

yea, world industries tried to make some snowboards too some time... but did not succeed really good.

yeah, i never thought i'd be disappointed to see a skate company getting in but... ick. Isnt World owned by some huge toy conglomerate though?

It was owned by Dwindle, which owned Almost, Enjoi, Darkstar & Blind, and is all owned by Globe. However it was sold to IE distributions or something. Basically W I sucks just as much as it used to.

Lame as AIDS. How can any ski that's 66 underfoot excell anywhere besides a slalom course?

its called "the man who souled the world" it was good, about the first core company and street skaters when there were only vert and freestyle skaters.

I used to dig the whole flameboy and waterboy and skulls thing... when I was 10. anyways, all I've heard about about their decks and their snowboards have been bad things.

I still do dude. only joking, I do take them out occasionally but I don't set up huge skate parks in my room and play for hours. man I miss those days.

haha sounds EXACTLY like my friend trey.....hes always got one chillin in his car hes always jibbing the steering wheel and shit

it would be sick if tthey made "independant" skis, they would look pretty baller probably not to good quality but if they tried you never know

hmm there having a sale in quebec this saturday a bunch of companies including WORLD. maybe i should go and see if they have cheap sample for sale. like big sizes

Fuc this world industries used to make the shittiest skate decks and know there making skis? Their snowboards have never really been that great either.

well atleast its a good sign that more and more companies are startin to get into freesking and within the next years or so im sure more and more companies like nike and under armor will get in and promote skiing like snowboarding

its good for promoting for the sport for sure, but do you really want companies like nike getting involved....they will totally commercialize it, and thats not really what we need. Just ski for the love of it.

yeah, I mean it's fun to play around with when you're bored. just not anywhere where people will see you haha.

the only reason they are still around is 10 year olds love the flameboy and water boy theme and the graphics on the decks adn clothes. these skis will prbly make a whole bunch of little kids think sking is cool now cause WI has got in it and start.
