there was even a part where the music had scratching, and the skier stopped and went back and forth to it.

what can you tell me about soviet montage use and the progression of editing in early cinema, namely the contributions of Sergei Eisenstein. Please use specific examples from such films as Battleship Potemkin, and the general line. Also, what aspects of film making seperated the powerhouse of American cinema, namely Griffith, from the Soviet style of production?

there's a million things i could say about bacon that i've heard through people i know that i wouldn't know otherwise.

but purely as a viewer, aside from putting people in movies that don't know they are in them, releasing trailers full of huge name pros that aren't even in the movie, bad editing, etc, etc... the number one thing i can't stand is

using songs from other skiing or snowboarding movies. it was straight up ridiculous in gwynne, but leaving his "first 16 mm film" aside, he used 2 songs from the SAME boarding movie that came out the season before. that is the lamest shit you can do, and is basically the movie version of plaigarism, or at least extreme laziness and lack of creativity. there must be 10,000+ bands out there, and new ones coming out every day. to use multiple songs from movies that just came out in either the same or basically the same (boarding) movies is redonkulous. if you can't come up with your own shit, why even make a movie.

since I'm not stupid enough to have ever bought shit off the guy (aka been ripped off) or good enough to have been stuck on one of the teams he BSed his way to managing, the only reason i even bother commenting is the same reason any other random person should care: he makes skiing look bad, and won't admit his mistakes.

i really believe some snowboarder exec at burton/red/anon/whatever hired bacon to get them to back out of skiing.

do you have a masters in detection or internet sarcasm too? and considering 33k tuition i pay out my ass to go to school for film critque, it's just as well that i throw that out there to verify i am not a half assed punk who enjoys talking mad shit on NS all day and night. take it easy homes sharing the focus of your studies isn't bragging. i could go on to tell you about my SAT scores and all the colleges i got into, but that would be bragging. either way internet sarcasm is fun.
 
anthony..i get your point. I will be the first to admit you hooked up a sweet us open trip for me last year. Whenever i am with you you definately do act super nice and help me out. i have always told you i appreciated that, and i still do. However, i have seen you make up the most outrageous stories and lie through your teeth to me, and many of my good friends, and for that i have no respect for you. Ill admit, your good at covering your ass..you always have a stupid fucking lame story as an excuse whenever your little lies will surface, but unless you have ungodly luck beyond belief then theres no excuse. You make so many promises you know you will never follow through with, and when someone confronts you about it you always shift the blame. What about a few weeks ago at the stowe jam..when you and i were having a friendly chat and you told me 1) You just sent out heni's package..and went into detail about the coat he was getting and blah blah and how it would be there in 3 days. No surprise to anyone that he obviously got nothing from you and its been almost 2 months. 2) that everything was settled with your editor and that you gave him a check (i wont put the bullshit number on here) and that he was satisfied. Again, no surprise that he has officially recieved $0.00 from you and the check you talked about was completely made up. For those two tiny things alone i have reason enough to hate you..and that was only from my most recent 30 second chat with you. I wont bother listing all the other times you have fucked me over, because honestly its not worth my time, but when you read this anthony just think about all the times you have lied to me, and that there really is no way around it. Your a grade a fuck up bacon, and you know it. Sooner or later all this shit will catch up to you

You prob told me you would 6-8 times, you fuck. And when I told you the box was in perfect mint condition, I meant the box was in perfect square shape with no dents and no fuken rips. I cant decide whether or not Im gonna send Mr. Bishop a message asking for this guy to get banned. I mean, using ns as a host to scam people countless times sounds like a legitimate reason for a ban to me. But as much as I would like to see him get banned, I love reading his responses in this thread.
