As sick and deserving as he is, he might have burnt that bridge when he only did a 360 last year in the best hit (big air) comp.

Not that there's anything wrong with a dope 360, I actually liked to see it because it added some variety. But you have to remember that it is the organizers of the event who choose the athletes, and whether you agree or not, everyone knows that at X-Games it's all about big tricks, especially in a one jump situation.

When you are dealing with a selection process that is purely political, you have to keep in mind that if you don't impress the people in charge, then they might not ask you back.
