there are a lot of alpental skiers and boarders who rip fuckin hard and keep quiet about it. also true at baker.

if you're interested in touring/big mountain look at Dan Helmstader's youtube and cascade climbers account, the dude RIPS huge exposed lines usually by himself and multiple days in a row. He's got a bunch of first descents on Shuksan, and Rainier.

For some perspective most of the shit he's skiing is as steep or steeper than shot 8 (the big face above armstrong express on the left) and pretty much certain death if he falls. The dude doesn't have any sponsors and lives in a little camper with his dog.
