Ive only read the last pageb but why hasn't anyone said Wiley Miller? He killed it in Refresh and that Utah Road Gap shots in Refresh and Resession were unreal! So big
 
The Ski Show is on hiatus right now. I'd really like to bring it back but the truth is, I'm putting 100% of my efforts into the magazine right now. I want to make sure when you guys pick it up, you're stoked. As for the show, we might change formats and turn it into a 30-40 minute podcast.
Either way, thanks for voting in the Reader Poll. The more skiers that vote, the more the top 10 list is going to reflect who the true top 10 skiers are so vote if you haven't already and get your other ski buddies to vote too.

 
if you bring ski show back, make sure i don't have to dl adware to listen. cause that was the only reason i didn't.
 
alright, at least I know what to tell people now. i kept getting messages every tuesday about if there was a show or not.

but powder mag is sick! both the issues my dad brought to me were great. best ski mag out there.
 
I hear the Dad scenario quite a bit. The truth is, I write almost entirely all of my stuff assuming the Newschoolers.com homies are going to pick it up. Thanks for reading the mag.
 
yeah the mag goes to my house first so he can read it and then he mails/brings it to me at school. He likes it, not sure how much the of the newschoolers related stuff he gets, but he can certainly spot a good photo or great article. Plus i explain if necessary.
 
That's the idea. Powder isn't a big mountain or a park or anything magazine. It is and will always be The Skier's Magazine. The idea is to tell good stories about skiers, regardless of what category their in. Our December issue has stories on powder, pipe, urban (Ahmet Dadali profile), fucking gnarly steep skiing, and a whole lot more.
Just because your parents like it, doesn't mean it's lame. My parents like partying and Led Zeppelin.

My parents love Powder. Let me tell you though, they were less then thrilled when I was like 13 and reading the Ask Brad section of Freeze.
 
hahaha! Dude, Brad Holmes wrote something for the Photo Annual! That guy is ridiculous. Maybe he can scrounge up some Attitude by Holmes cologne.
