Those are all great things but she saw an opportunity to gain votes with gay marriage and the fact that she was totally against it and now is totally for it is fishy. I guess people can change their minds or whatever but it just doesn't seem right to me personally.

He is saying that instead of the money wasted on Bernie's campaign which will eventually amount to a loss you could have actually guaranteed helping someone. It may not be life savings but it will help someone somewhere.

Would you give money to a starving kid or someone who may be able to help people but its not even a guarantee? Im not hating on someone giving a small donation to someone/something they believe in but its not money well spent when its almost a guarantee he can't even be the representative for the democratic party let alone the president.

How do you know that? In all honesty, charities are a total questionmark too. How do you know that your 10 bucks went to buying actual medical supplies that helped actual people, rather than more advertisements asking for more money? which, to that end, is no different than giving money to a political campaign that you support.

If you want to help a starving kid directly, find one on the street, and give them a pizza...

Good point but you know what I'm trying to say. Find a legit reputable charity and your money is being spent in a better way imo

You know a better means of helping people out? Donate to a scholarship fund or something. Scholarship funds tend not to have late night marketing campaigns...

Both are pretty shitty organizations to give money to IMO.

the first is to allow a kid to go to college and have to work less during the school year. And the other is to help out folks who voluntarily chose an extremely dangerous hobby, then got hurt doing said voluntary hobby, and now need money.

There are many, many organizations that directly help starving people, dying children, cancer research, etc, etc. Ya know, things that actually save innocent lives?
