I'm pretty pleased with how my first DIY mount went. I pulled Shifts off my Kye 110s to mount on my new set of Noctas. Plugged the holes and mounted Attack 16 ATs on the Kyes. Moved back .5cm to make sure I had more than ample space between holes. They came out very straight/even and adjusted easily on both sides.

Overall 9/10 would recommend.

Solid quiver.

Still TBD on what skis I'm gunna get but need to make a choice sooner than later.

Down to the ARVs or CTs but I'd prefer to support a smaller brand if possible. Anybody have any recs? @Moment Skis wanna hit me up with the NS discount?!?!

Skiburger.com is where you can find blems, demos, and discounted stock from Moment.

Icelantic, moment, or on3p are the giants among small, grassroots ski companies and have bomber products you can't go wrong with.

Lol I went to buck in the fall to try to satisfy my skiing itch the past 2 years and both times it just left me feeling unsatisfied

Also stoked on contacts lenses and the fact that I might be getting powder skis. I really needed them for awhile. This season's gonna be fucking great I can tell you that much.

Your life's gonna change if you're use to glasses! Or use to shitty vision if you've never had corrective lenses.

I wear glasses , can’t fit em under me goggles so I’m used to not the best vision , tho I’m far sighted which has advantages ages btw

tried contacts last year can’t put them in or take em out on my own so ??‍♂️

Apparently not a lack candidate ??‍♂️

Still skiing “ impaired “

I’ve had contacts before and I only put on glasses if I need to drive or read something from far away. The problem with contacts for me is putting them in and getting them out, it’s the worst. Other than that they work like a charm.

it going to be better because I’m short sighted and everything is usually kinda fuzzy so yeah it’s going to help.

I finally see myself waking from the deep depression caused by the desease that most people call summer the hype is real

The hurricane gave ontario some nice rainy, cold, fall weather the past few days. Nothing gets the stoke going like seeing the leaves start to fall. Can't wait to get back out west, hopefully this time for good!

I just got lasik this summer and I’m so hyped to see what it’s like to ski with perfect vision. It blows now being able to see anything at night/the beauty outside. Couldn’t get down with contacts and there was no way I was wearing my glasses

Going to finish my bachelor's thesis in December and then moving to the Alps for 5 months. No school, no job, only skiing! Finally starting to take skiing more seriously. Shit is gonna be mad sick! Got new skis and bout to buy new boots. Stoke is real. Let's go!

I have to focus on school for a trimester being a junior, so i cant really ride the hype train. Anyone else whos in their junior year of high school, you should probably do the same. Most important year of all of school.

Ironically, I missed a month and a half worth of junior year from a concussion, and I ended the year with the most skiing progression I've managed in one season, plus getting high honors for the year and acceptance into colleges lmao

I’m currently sitting in front of Giray Dadalis house waiting for him to wake up from a nap so he can sell me some Daymakers, and there is slushy rain smacking my windshield! Oh yea and I just got my skis from the shop, remounted with new boots and ready to go

Was it thoroughly disappointing?

Is it the funky synthetic surface thats the let down? (Ive never skied on the stuff)

I went to Buck hill once last season (when there was real snow) and it was just ok.

Tested out my new daymakers on the living room floor, working like a charm. Then I tried to do a nose press on the carpet and double ejected to my face right in front of my family, it was sick!

Thanks dude!! Hahahaha that would have been a great story.

daymakers are touring adapters that clip into your normal bindings and then to your boots so that any normal setup can be used as a touring setup. Giray Dadali @ahmetsbrother makes them, check them out on Instagram @daymakertouring , very sick product

Dope thx !

im sold , I was looking at my unmounted apostles the other day and my luck pivots thinking kind a wish I had bought shifts it would make a nice East Coast touring ski

this solves that ??

If your pivots are 18s you also have Cast system as an option.

Definitly not a substitute for snow, much more of a setup for race practice and not park but there were a few rails and I was happy to get on skis

I meant let’s gooo as in fuck yeah haha, but I’m out in the east brother, mainly ski Vermont Maine and New Hampshire

No, that's exactly how I took it.

Just checking where you're getting pumped for!

I spend a lot of time on the mountain skiing greens and blues trying to work on my switch technique and hitting lumps, jobs, and sidehits while teaching my kids how to ski. I'm not exactly reaching out looking for guys to go shred at this point in life, though some of my kids friends parents rip pretty hard so we all get laps in or put the kidlings in lessons and get solid days.

Getting close though...Squaw is projecting 11/15 open date so we'll see what mother nature can whip up in the next seven weeks or so.

When's Killington open?

There you go man, gotta get yours while the kids are learning. Killington is projected for 10/19, so the month countdown for me has already started. Literally can’t wait. Enjoy Squaw boss hopefully it’s an early season✌?

They're way better when the hill uses softer material next to/after the rail.

Yeah I've never ridden this stuff but from the pictures it seems like this would absolutely suck to fall on?

The stuff is great skiing straight for air bags and rail setup in runs. Feels like asphalt to fall on, not great for turning. The airbag that my ski team uses is nice for skiers because you're only on your inside edges. For snowboarders, you basically have to be constantly on edge or else you can take a hard spill.

Been skiing indoors back home for a while again its its been pretty good :)! Super stoked to go on a working holiday to canada next year though and do the season over there!
