I don't thinl they're the og. They brought back the original 4 on the CT 5 (which is so damn fun) and that's 122. The CT 3 is the same ski just skinnier up

Fingers crossed, but honestly nothing can disappoint compared to living in NJ. Hoping to catch you out there, hmu if you’re ever tryna shred! Prolly not as good as you judging by your sick ass park edits but I love to rip all mountain

Haha yeah I'll be there pretty often when I'm not working at park city, really getting into the big mtn stuff but still not nearly as good as a lot of people there.
 
So pumped, in under 2 months killington’s gonna open and I just impulsively bought another pair of HG’s from their liquidation. Keegan’s promodel from 2 years ago, so hyped.

cant wait for killi and snowshoe they both always open about the same time

ill be at snowshoe all November and half December , New England late December , out west all January , Snowshoe all feb , back to new e March and maybe tucks etc this spring has been my plan in the making since last April and May finish the year in April/May which would be super late for me by heading back out west

ive got new skis to shred and types of places I’ve never seen so this is the year I been dreaming about my whole life super stoked

A lot of places get cold enough temps to start making snow as early as October if they like. Usually by end of November they've had enough of a window to open a trail or two.

It can really depend on temps what kind of conditions and amount of trails they can put out but generally pretty good. I don't think the storage rigs could put out enough volume for most of the places. Generally just the somewhat bigger mountains opening that early.

It still blows my mind that places can open with one half dirt/half ice trail, and the place will be crowded af with people paying close enough to full price sometimes in October. Then the same mountain can have 100% open, great snow coverage, gorgeous cord, and there's like 2 people riding that don't have season passes.

Just as we pile salt for road maintenance in winter we pile snow all summer long to open the slopes ASAP yes
 
Gonna get my passes this weekend and then maybe get bootfitted, gotta figure something out with a fucked up foot.

Honestly looking forward to it all. Cant wait to just zoom all over the place jumping off stuff and buttering things and hitting sidebooters. And of course deep days with the bois

Bummer about the foot. I am dealing with capsulitis of the second toe. It's really slow to heal and a bummer!

I will need a custom footbed for sure this season.

i lost nerve concentration from a lawn mower accident, shit sucks. I walk all funny now but expect to ski with no issue
 
Just bought these monsters of boots and got them fitted, getting the Kartel 108’s remounted too. Need to go pick up my snow basin pass and then it’s back to binging the level 1 movies and dreaming about pillow lines while I shleep

Man those are pretty, ive been in RX130s for the last few years now and just retired my green and white ones, interested in upgrading to either these or the one you can tour in as well, but all dependent on what bootfitters suggest. I like how stiff and responsive those boots are. Never had any comfort issues or even cold feet.

I’m feeling pretty excited for these, they fit like a glove and feel like they’ll be pretty comfortable. Moving out of Full Tilts that were huge so I’m excited to try these out!

the $700 price tag did hurt tho

Worth it, dude. I got my last pair super cheap at a buy/sell outdoor gear store in SLC cuz one of the buckles were slighty busted but they were brand new and they lasted me like 4 years. Just make sure to replace the soles every now and then.
 
I'm pretty pleased with how my first DIY mount went. I pulled Shifts off my Kye 110s to mount on my new set of Noctas. Plugged the holes and mounted Attack 16 ATs on the Kyes. Moved back .5cm to make sure I had more than ample space between holes. They came out very straight/even and adjusted easily on both sides.

Overall 9/10 would recommend.
 
so stoked to ski this year. Already have a trip to rado booked for christmas. Hoping i can have another crazy progression year and get some more tricks in the bag.
 
Still TBD on what skis I'm gunna get but need to make a choice sooner than later.

Down to the ARVs or CTs but I'd prefer to support a smaller brand if possible. Anybody have any recs? @Moment Skis wanna hit me up with the NS discount?!?!

Also stoked on contacts lenses and the fact that I might be getting powder skis. I really needed them for awhile. This season's gonna be fucking great I can tell you that much.
