I'm in the garage mounting some skis, first DIY mount, pieces look pretty good.

Labor day has passed.

The stoke is real my friends.

I'm always down for stoke. Here's last season's best pow day for me. 8:30am, first chair, and not a soul in sight. Also, a couple friends who are super casual skiers bought gear and passes, Im psyched to see them progress.

I am so ready to go ride some snow! Knee surgery cut my season short so I am hyped to go. Hope everyone is or has been hitting the gym and physically ready, it’s coming!

I have to focus on school for a trimester being a junior, so i cant really ride the hype train. Anyone else whos in their junior year of high school, you should probably do the same. Most important year of all of school.

But as soon as christmas comes its time to SHRRRRED

edit: I guess focusing on school isnt a popular idea here lmaoo

So fucking stoked. This is gonna be a damn fine year. Been back in the gym dreaming of deep pow days and early morning car rides to the mountain. That shit is motivation.

even thought of getting new skis but my two usable pairs are still in one piece so doesn't seem necessary.

Hyper stoked. Me n the boys bought some 3 day passes to revelstoke in early February and we got a two week road trip through the Rockies planned to hit mutliple mountains on the powder alliance. First time skiing the Rockies and looking forward to that hyperlite fluff

I agree with you 100% but you can still get a ton of days in.

I skied 70 days last season as a junior in HS and I don’t live close to my home hill either. However I lost a lot of sleep due to getting home late on weeknights after skiing and having to stay up until 3 to do any homework I had (I took a rather easier course load instead of a shit ton of AP classes) but it was all worth the crazy amounts of sleep deprivation.

I miss skiing in high school, being able to go like 5 times a week usually. Being in college now is tougher with a two hour drive to my hill if I want to ski. holding out for thanksgiving and winter break when i can go all the time. High school was a simple time looking back on it

Yeah I feel that this is what’s gonna end up happening to me which is why I’m going to college in town and living from home. Saves money too so when I graduate I can move out to Utah with not as much debt

I have finally finished debating in my head and I will make the purchase of the altabird pass this year.

Pussy. Ikon passes are for real skiers.

i think it'll be a regular la niña winter season with epic snow days on the west coast, perhaps purchasing the 19/20 almanac would do me good

I'm sitting in DFW about to get on a plane for Argentina. Snow's good and park is set up at Cerro Catedral. Stoke is getting real. Enjoy the heat bitches.

Hopefully getting my offer this weekend to work at Whitewater BC this season! Mega mega mega keen. Anyone ever been there? I've only skied Silverstar, Big White and Revelstoke before. I'm keen for mega pow.

Im living in Keystone, it hailed like crazy today, probably snowed above 11k just got my kartels mounted and im fuggin ready

I’m getting new boots hopefully soon, then getting the kartels remounted, just bought my pass to snow basin, been watching all the Level 1 movies and LTC’s, I’m sweating in the warehouse at my work cuz it’s hot as the devils gooch but I am very ready to thrash :’)

Lol I don’t relate. I’m a junior too and my brain has been focused on snow a good chunk of my time. Just waiting for that early snow at crater lake so I can set up a rail and satisfy my soul

Been on a constant hype train since the end of last season, level 1 movies are getting me stupid eager, but still got a minute til lifts are spinning but I'm fucking hyped to be ripping Alta for my all mtn pow fix and PC for my park fix, slowly getting my touring and avy gear setup ready to ski the deep swells of the wasatch. Yeewwwwwww

If you're that worried about high school you might be over prioritising. High school was easy.

Anyone got a vote on which line skis to add to my unit to compliment my chronics and vision?

Thinking Bacon's, outline seems dope as well. Not really vibing with the sickday, dope ski but I'm not a father yet

I’m in this boat too probably going with the 190 bacons , even tho the outline still has more surface area for pow I think they’ll b great and I can still use them when I’m it hasn’t snowed

cant wait for the 2029 /20 season been counting down the days for so looong

Have bacons and they’re great daily drivers (especially now that I’m moving to Utah :D ) just don’t hit rails on em lmao

My sister is sending me touring bindings that she never ended up using for some surface outsiders (definitely going to be a weird choice for east cosst touring but fuck it im stoked)

about to get my new pair of twoowts mounted

and ive been scoping street spots since getting back from hood. About to be a SICK season, bring on the snow!
