Who's ridden chronic blends?

what did you think of them in the park? I'm like 170 lbs, 6'2, pretty aggressive, i like a stiffer ski in general, picked up a 179 for super cheap on sierra, probly going to center mount. i've read a million reviews but I'm just wondering what opinions are from people that have them.

heaps of threads about the blend on NS..

its basically a prophet 90 but softer and lighter ( i think it has the carbon matrix and a poplar core, or a lighter wood), good for the park..

I'm currently debating between the blends and the Scratch FS WRS - from what I've read the blends are flexier, and both have decent edge strength. I'd like to consider the blends more, but it's hard to get a read on them without trying them out - reviews are very mixed.

yeah don't center mount it fucks with the way the ski handles

that ski is designed to be mounted back a bit try -2 or -3

if your just going to be skiing park with them i would get the chronics, actually i did get the chronics. chronic blends are a fatter version of the reg chron, obv, but the chron is more specified towards park/all mtn while the blend is all mtn/park, if that makes sense. if your doing at least 75% park riding i would get the reg chrons, and check out this site if you do decide to get reg chrons
