ouch. ik i should be skateboarding mountain biking dirt biking 4 wheeling or somthing other that i like todo... but i cant cuz all i wanna do is skiiiii

SR opens on Halloween. That's in a couple weeks.

Last year I made turns on Oct 15th... fkn bummed this year is starting off slow but I guess they can't all be the earliest you've ever skied.
 
Yea, I got that first wiff of cold air last night and made me want snow soo bad! Its killing me!
 
nothing close to snow in cali right now 100 degrees in middle of the day, hope it snows alot
 
haha ya last year wasnt the best, but i did go to stowe late feb. on that weekend there was like 2ft over night and i busted the windshield wiper motor... so i had to stay and ski another day :P
 
Sunday River will be open late October and Saddleback in December. Not too much longer to wait!
 
Hell yea! That was some of the best pow I've ever skied. Stowe got like 36 inches over the weekend, I had to skip school on monday because it was too god to miss.
 
I don't even know if I can make it... The worst is when it's too cold for the tramp but there's no snow...brace yourselves.

im from boston...its not even that im waiting for the first snow im just waiting until the forecast doesnt show 68-70 degrees for the whole week...but when it comes it will be great- in the recent past the northeast either has terrible or great winters...this one better be great or ill blow my brains out i cant take another year of watching rain fall in the middle of january
 
That was awesome, I woke up that morning, and everything was down sobi couldn't get to a resort to hike, good thing I live on a side of a mountain. Pow runs down to my house all day. Lows in the 40's tonight, it's getting chilly, pulled out the puff and wool blanket and sleep with the window open for maximum cozyness
 
last year i had the shittiest year in southern Ontario with like 30 cm of actual snow, but this year moved out to Quebec so im hoping for a doppe season! bring on the snow
 
damn I was there for that too! Shit was crazy!

I've been counting out the days till this season since I left the hill sometime this past april..

I thought school would take my mind off it, but I go to school at Plymouth State and its in the white mountains... TURNS OUT ITS JUST A TEASE. FUCK.
 
I know it seriously sucks waiting but enjoy the end of summer. its still warm work on the tramp and mountain bike or swim while you can. Summer is agonizing for me too but enjoy it while it lasts, you'll be praying for sun when its pouring rain and 40 degrees for a week
 
i definitely feel like its getting colder...the mornings are a lot chillier and there are more forecasts that say 60 degrees...winter is on its way

 
I was cold surfing yesterday, haven't been cold in a while. But mountain creek opened like the day before christmas last year, hopefully that changes.
