whos not getting new skis? seems like lots of people buy skis every year. This thread is for the people who ski on what they got till they cant be skied no more.

Im on 2 or 3 year old k2 silencers, some old pocket rockets for out west.
 
as a broke college student, I am keeping the skis im riding on. they are 2 years old and still lovin em. by the way pocket175, what happened to your dumonts?
 
i've still got AR5's from 04/05. just bought some JP/Juliens though cuz i'll be in CO all season. Maybe this will be the year the AR5's die since i'll be skiing more park this year than I have in the previous 4 combined.
 
i, too, am a poor college kid and can only afford new boots this year. so i will be skiing on the TNKs i bought last season.
 
im going on my third year for my skis. rossingnol scratch wrs. just got spks and a pass to breck/key/abay, i thought the pass was going to be better then having new skis and riding in minnesota over xmas and spring breaks.
 
me...but only because i got my invaders at the end of the year last year...so pink bottom invaders all the way! ha...but im in a pattern where my skis go to crap by the spring so i'll get a new pair then
 
i work too, man and like i said, i am going to buy new ski boots this year. however, i have bills to pay, trips to save for, and other things that need finances.

nobody dare say "oh, well you're just not committed enough to the sport" cuz i will punch you in the face.

if i have skis that still work perfectly fine (even though they are last years), why should i buy a new pair when i really don't need them?
