Who's interested in a rail jam?

It will most likely be a boarder/skier jam, and will be sponsored by Wlrs Design.We're just trying to see if enough people are interested right now, as well as figuring out logistics and locations etc.
So who would be down, and where do you think would be a good date/location?Also what would you like to see in a rail jam?

POOR BOYZ PREMIERE SATURDAY NOVEMBER 7th. So please dont do it that date.
 
Alright, I'll keep you posted.As of now, possible dates are Oct. 17/18 (Joint event with Refresh/Wild Stallions Premiere), Oct. 24-25 or Nov. 8, 14/15.

tying it in with the refresh/meatheads premier would be a god way to start the festivities
 
Help me out here.

By rail jam are we talking adtro turf and PVC, or snow from ice rinks or what?

Me and atleast 4 local buddys are down.
 
Yea do it on the 17th! i'll come from whistler to hit this for sure. there's prob gonna be alot of people for this it sounds so maybe have a couple rails if possible? i can probablly help move snow too.
 
CHOICE! Hahah. Clever Spence. Anyways, we're working on getting Grouse and Alterna on board. Poor Boyz is down already, so we're stoked on that. The date we're going for is November 8th, corresponding with the PBP premiere. We'll keep you updated on what goes down in the next couple weeks.
 
Yup, Sam (wlrsclothing) pretty much nailed it.We're working to get Grouse and Alterna, as well as local shops.PBP is also on board, and there will be some riders in attendance. Get stoked!
 
No the Refresh premiere is the 17th... the rail jam is on Nov 8, the day after the EDIAS premiere.
 
sick. So this is separate from the UBC ski and board rail jam then? If you guys need help setting up or moving snow I'd be stoked to help.
 
The jam is going to be hosted by UBC ski and board, so it's not separate from their jam. They've got an application filed for use of the knoll, so things are looking up. Red bull has offered up trucks for snow transport so this event is definitely going down. We've hit a few snags with getting rails for the event with Whistler so we're figuring out what we can do to get that sorted.

awe no way, what would you rather, jus ta strait onto box? or street on both sides? way more difficult adn creative and well james you said it yourself "STEP YOUR GAME UP" hahaha
 
I'd do a ride on the width of the box from behind for the kids and wedges from the sides for people that can ollie. This way it feels like you're skating a flat ledge, not riding up a ramp onto the top of it.
