The song is most notably from the trailer to Shanghai 6... anyone know who that is ?

it's like the song 'hip hop' by dead prez. i just realized that radio tuning in the beginning is from the movie 'radio' with cuba gooding jr which i watched a day or two ago. good shit.

the guy's name is young churf, he's a local from NYC, and that sample of him isnt from one of his songs. apparently he left some huge-ass diatribe on one of the guys from ratatat's answering machine, saying that "he's been rapping for about 17 years..."
