Who's got Seth Vicious?

I just won a pair of k2 skis of my choice, i'm thinkin' i wanna go with the Seth vicious. I'm 148 pounds, almost 5'8", and i'll be using it on backcountry a lot... i ski pretty hard, put a lot of pressure on my skis. if anyone has a pair, let me know your size and your wieght.... i don't know if i should get 169's or 179's. I should start growning a little more, too... i'm 14. Thanks.
 
179s without a doubt. You will grow as you're only 14, this is your BC skis and if you ski hard you should be able to handle them.

I'm 5'6 on 178 Scratch BC's this upcomming season.
 
No, I am a little shorter and lighter than you (130lbs 5'6") and I am skiing the 169 and they are great. the 179 will be about 6cm taller than you so it deppend on how much you grow. the 179 PE will only be about 2cm taller though and you might want to consider them.
 
i'm about 5'4'' and 100 pounds and i have the 169's and can handle them fine. you could go with either size
 
I'm 5'11" and I have 179's. If I was skiing lots of BC like you, I would get 189's. I would go with NickF here, buy 179's cause you'll grow.
 
definitly 179's, and depending on how big you go or how agressive you are. also, how much you grow, the 189's. ride em big if their your BC ski.
 
get the 179, no question. i ski the 179 SV, 179 PE, and 189 SP. i'm 5'9", 150 lbs. you'll have no problems with it. don't listen to anyone who says 169- they're morons and don't know what they're talking about.
 
get the 179's. i am about 3 inches taller and about 20 pounds heavier, and i wish i had the 189's. so the 179's should fit you nicely, especially if you charge like you said you do.
 
yeah man, thats awesome. seth vicious is definitely a great choice. that ski kills it everywhere from super hard groomers, to whatever park situation you will run into, to the deepest of back country conditions. enjoy!
