Any other resorts around the nation blowing yet?

whaleback will be open first in north america. they just got 2 feet at the summit and 1 at the base.
 
the talk is always about loveland and abasin... is anyone skiing timberland right now? they're open for the 08/09 season.
 
well down here in GA....never...unless you count my summer setup...then always...

Any visual confirmation showing that as their date? I've heard so many different things on Mt. Snow. I've heard the 1st, the 7th, 10/31. Are they basically going to be gunning for as early as possible this year?

really depends on the weather, they got flurries at the summit but they haven't posted a scheduled opening day. with 251 fan guns they really should be first open, and i live about 20 mins away and it's getting very cold so the signs are good but i drove past like 2 days ago and didn't see any signs of snowmaking. it'll most likely be the first or second wknd in november, i'll be there on sunday, i'll probably have a soccer game on saturday
 
have you, like, ever experience autumn in washington? its a long, drawn out tease. just when you're ready, high pressure comes in and shits on any crust up there. that, or a warm ass hit of rain melts it all and floods everything else.

curious to see which of the CO resorts gets their claim run open first this time.

Yeah, that's all I've heard as well. I live in Rutland, and work at Killington, and was just curious to see if Mt Snow had officially posted what they are shooting for online or if it's just internet rumor-mill stuff (not saying it's not true either)
 
I can't wait to ski that preseason A Basin shit. Oh wait I work at Vail Resorts, they charge me, even with my employee pass.* What a fucked up corporation.

even if you were not saying sundown was opening on the first haha. considering i have been walking around in shorts, and the 1st is a hot 2 and half weeks away rofl lol.
