Who's going to a-basin this weekend?

me and tex are and we've got room for one more if they want to come with, all you gotta do is chip in for gas money cuz we've got a place to stay
 
word i think i am going to go with a couple of kids as well. not sure yet though. Should be legit! i dont know where we would stay but worst comes to worst im not worried about sleeping in the car
 
werd, yea worst case scenario we can all get a hotel room and everyone just crash one the floor. i found a super 8 for 60 bucks a nite with 2 beds. let me know if you guys wanna do that, it wouldn't cost must split 4 or 5 ways
 
i might be headed out there tomorrow. not sure yet. hopin i can get work off. should be aaaamaaaaazingggg
 
yea nothing like dishing out $45 bones to ski a white ribbon of death with hundreds of people crowding its slopes and wait in hour long lines.... I just don't see the appeal but for those going.....

cheapest hotel is the holiday inn in frisco which is about a 30 minute drive from a-basin

or you can camp in the upper lot at a-basin.
 
its skiiin. haha nobodys complainin. too many people but a few turns on crap snow aint bad.
 
me and all the guys i'm rollin with are leavin tonight so if anybody there wants to shred just look for any of us on the hill, we'll be filming

 
already beat that game. just got back. discount passes, free place to stay (frisco is only about 15 minutes tops from a basin) and the line was 15 minutes or 0 if you hiked the rails. it was mad fun
 
what ever man, soo much fun and so worth it. i already got to ride up a chairlift and rip down a run. have you? i had a great time and im sure anyone else going will as well.
 
actually yes. i know a guy, and the green card is acceptable. hate to part from my herb, but atleast i dont have to travel to another state to ride a chair, ski an overcrowded groomer, and call drop next on a two foot rail. silly kids. i hope u have a great time, cause ur gonna be payin for it.
 
some of us think it is worth it to travel and go skiing.  I find skiing enough fun that ai am willing to drive to colorado to do so.  if you have a place to stay and discounted passes why not go?  why do you have to try and bring kids down that want to just go out and have a good time.  if you dont think it is worth it good for you some of us do.
 
i happen to be on a tight budget because i love to ski and spend all my money on it. being a jobless ski bum w/ 150+ days a season doesn't provide me with much flow, and going to school does not help. i cannot afford to spend 1-2 on a preseason trip to go jib a rail, as fun as that sounds...since its not winter yet, i like to spend some disposable income i might have on other cool things. sorry if i cant do bs switch ups. and my priorities? i bet you ski pc even on a pow day, dont you?

whatev im tryin to understand ur logic, and i sincerely do hope you have a fun time.
 
you would be suprised at how sick Park City can be on a pow day. if you know where to go it can be amazing and way less crowded than LCC
