My graduate record exam's tomorrow. studied all i could in minimal timeHas anyone done it before? Thoughts? The only section i haven't 'prepared' for in the analytical writingBut judging from the fact that I've had 3 exams and a research project to work on, i think I've had enough practice

The math portion is disgustingly easy. I'm not that smart but got an 800, so that should tell you something. If you have time, for the verbal part I would get some flash cards for the most used words or at least learn the roots, those will help you most of the time. For the writing I would suggest creating a template and just pumping out 5-7 paragraphs for each essay. Template meaning the beginning and ending of intro/conclusion, it lets you worry about the writing and not thinking up some eye catcher first sentence. I would suggest linear, almost formulaic arguments.
it's not that hard of a test.

I took it in July. It's not bad, basically the equivalent of the SAT's only a little harder. It's seriously whatever don't sweat it.

Wait, sorry I was an idiot and didn't read this post. What do you mean does it change for the area of study? It's the same no matter what, it's like the SAT's. You can take the subject tests, which are different, but you obviously already know that if you're asking about the economics test.

And for suggestions just look over a review book. That's all I did and I did fine. The book said to start preparing months beforehand, but I was able to go through what I felt I needed in 5 days and that was that. I was content with how it went.
