Porcupine Tree, is mostly mellow stuff, really good. There sort of like a new style Yes/Floyd spacey rock kinda band. Especially their older stuff.
 
latley i've been getting into the really chill tunes too. The new John Mayer cd is tits, atleast thats what I think. Its kind of a different sound than his old stuff but just way chill. Atleast get the song gravity off of it. Some Marley is always good.
 
Yah, I'm getting tired of all the yelling. It's nice to get pumped up now and then with some hard tunes. But, most of the time its mellow for me. The Long Winters, Cold Play's new album X&Y is really well done, Jack Johnson, Some of this is pretty mainstream obviously. The new album 'how to save a life' by the Frey is incredible. It has well written music and the vocals are so clean and crisp. They know how to play their instruments in that band. Lead singer is also an amazing pianist.
 
I HIGHLY reccomend listening to some Metal Fingers. Download some of the Special Herbs & Spices albums (Vol. 9-0 is my favorite).
 
The entire Elko album by Railroad Earth. Especially the song "Railroad Earth" and the song "Old Man and the Land"
