I love the setup. So awesome to watch. And you have to keep in mind that this is a west coast rail jam. They are going to take advantage of the fact that they actually have a hill before their features.
 
i think that a "classic rail jam" format is unbelievably boring to watch.

i also find it funny that the same kids who hate on "future spins" love to see future spins on rails...oh the hypocrisy.
 
I found the setup to be sick and it gives important contests a new edge of park. Unlike convential rail setups, this one focused on different aspect, not how you can dance on a rail, but how you can link things up.

That was a sick contest, I would shit my pant just looking at it
 
it's becoming more apparent to me that you don't like r2r because you simply don't understand what you're watching. so for you to be entertained, the features must be bigger/more spectacular. it's along the lines of simon dumont winning with a dub front over a dub cork 10 because the general public that voted didn't understand the technicality behind the dub cork 10 so they went with the more spectacular looking trick.

also the most impressive tricks at r2r weren't the ones where kids spun as fast as they could, regardless of what the judges believed... but hey that's all you saw so again, you reinforce my point. now i realize that all i'm doing is trying to reason with a gaper which is about as futile as trying to masturbate to a whoopi goldberg movie so i'm going to stop now and just wait for jeffery wenz to put up an edit of the finals and have my mind blown.

by the way, shouldn't you be busy making threads trying to ban guacamole sundays?

This has probably been the most dominant contest season ever put together, couldn't be happier for the guy. 9-10 years ago, yeah, maybe Tanner could've done something (did do something?) similar, but we all know that the level of competition these days is ridiculous.

Do I even need to say that I can't wait for the footy? Well, I can't. Anyone got the rest of the results?
 
got deleted. i disagree with the use of the word Faggot as an insult. so does this site(thats why they ban people for using it). I brought up the point that they allowed guac sundayz to prominently use it because 4bi9 is popular around here, but dont allow anyone else to. I think its shitty that anyone would use it as an insult.

they werent satirizing the use of the word, they were satirizing the spin to win mentality. they needed to use a word as an insult, and they picked Faggot. large difference.

why didnt they instead use Nigger, Kike, Beaner etc? im sure, using those words in a satirical edit would have been fine.

Maybe I should've rephrased myself, excuse me. In January we had a foot and a half more then Mammoth. We were skiing on rocks. My godfather is the GM at Sierra at Tahoe and they said that according to their review, we had the most in the country in January. Sorry I shouldve said what month.You dont have to be an asshole with this "Absolut Bullshit' Bullshit. I was just saying.
 
Also, how in the fuck would you know how much snow we have? I was born and bred up here.

Really left my junk a mancake after all those flat landings!! Ite competition is not meant to be your typical "rail jam", you have to understand this. It is a job park shoot that goes down in 30 minutes with the biggest balls and tech on man sized features in skiing. No one wants to see 10g's handed out for low consequence unimpressive rails. Everyone there loved the comp and huge shutouts to Coker and monster. Monster setup indeed. When u have a crowd of 500 drunk LA snowboard lovers, you do some tech tricks and you do some massive crowd pleasers!!
