and why, out of these match-ups (or another suitable victor for each)?

Big Name: Tanner Hall vs. Shawn White

Rails: Travis Heed vs. Marc Franc Montoya

Tech Tricks: Charles Gagnier vs. Travis Rice

Crazy Swedes: Jon Olsson vs. Terje Haakonsen
 
but comparing heed to MFM seems alot better than gagnier to marc, like their overall style and everything
 
olympic gold medal, cover of rolling stone... shaun white has the big name thing by a mile. people who don't do either sport know who he is. not sure on rails and tech, but jon kills it. none of his footage of hitting chad's switch other than a big spread made it into teddy bear crisis. he was having a hard time hanging on to his landings. then hall broke his ankles and the whole thing got shut down before he got it dialed. but he was going like 30 feet farther than tanner and was smoother in rotating and pulling those grabs out.
 
i think more people would support snowboarding because most people think that skiing is gay and snowboarding is cool, so even if the skiers threw way harder, which they would, a lot of the fans would be unhappy so they would probably just let the boarders win or some shit like that, this is only if the whole thing was jusdged and voted on by fans
 
olson and tanner would win but the rest would pro lose. i actually dont know much about travis heed so... marc frank is sweet tho
 
jon has anything on terje that guy is the king, where is jons arctic challenge. Nowhere. coz he doesnt have one, if your questioning terje's sickness just do some homework on what he did on a snowboard 5 years before everyone else.
 
I wouldnt use MFM as a rail example, I'd use a french shredder like Yan Dofin, that dude makes me happy in the pants. He's so sick.

Chris Dufficy is good too. I can think of tons of people better at rails than MFM. MFM actually, in my opinion, sucks. I dont find him that great at all... JP Walker, Eddie Wall, hell, even Danny Kass is better at rails, I'd say.
 
comparitively, ofcourse he's good at rails but he's no jib god, he just has the smoothest style going
